I guess you'd say I'm agnostic with atheist leanings:). Once I left JW I lost all faith in the bible and religion thus my user name.

Yep I said it and thank you very much for telling me what I paid for 30+ years vs the benefits I received vs what I started paying in 2016/17 under the threat of repeal.
I pay an outrageous price for insurance with a very high deductible that started in the 2016/2017 year.
https://www.zanebenefits.com/blog/affordable-care-act-policy-costs-up-in-2017
Prices increased 2017 due to some insurance co leaving ACA. Why did they leave?
Insurance agencies cite cost of setting up AND ongoing uncertainty over federal plans of scaling back the mandate.

But you know meh it didn't effect you so it must not be a problem.

@morpheus
I've had health insurance through my husbands employer for 30+ years. Not only did it increase in 2016 from all the campaign promises of repeal I also get less benefits. Higher rate with much higher deductible. So please spare me your n=1 unless you want to acknowledge my n=1 too. Because your insurance rate hasn't gone up yet doesn't mean it won't and it also doesn't mean it hasn't for others.
No one is saying NN would kill the forum especially immediately, I simply linked the NN response on At&t from "won't" to "don't" which is a bit of a difference don't you agree?
I linked some facts about At&t raising rates although being given a huge tax cut and now will be able to prioritize websites due to the repeal if/when they so choose. I didn't even link the reports about workers being laid off but here you go...

https://www.dallasnews.com/business/att/2017/12/20/att-plans-lay-nearly-300-center-dallas-next-year
Thing is I'm ready able and willing to acknowledge when/if I'm wrong:)
ETA: I responded here with some of the posts from a different thread, my apologies. As I've stated over and over I'm happy to admit when I make a mistake:)

I told my loved one that I (50 something) wasn't expected to start kindergarten (70's) and I still get the same response I gave in the 80's when my children were born "yeah but's it's so much closer now".
Uggg I feel stupid!

I'm still not buying it at this point, along with demons. None have contacted me or any of my friends/family so scientific/evidence base research is over:).

And the faithful rank and file will never watch the ARC testimony so they don't even have to try hard on the disinformation:(

Yep you'll get a tax cut until the insurance rates rise will happen fast without the mandate, and if you are in a high property tax state you can no longer get SALT (cap 10k), charity and a few other deductions.
Oh and don't forget this is temporary, will go up and corporations (which have been making tons of $$ for the last several years already) tax cut is permanent.
ETA: Oh if you live in Cal or NY and rent, expect your rent to probably go up because if owners can't deduct interest they will pass it on to the renters.

Do You Feels That Your Life Was Ruined Because of Ypur JW Experience?

I guess it depends on what you mean by ruined:
No higher education.
Married very young (still married to same guy)
Spend thousands and thousands $ on donations, years of reg pioneering, Vehicle wear and tear
Lost a close family member to blood fraction/particle doctrine
Have a very close family member barely talks to me because I'm "inactive"
Watched heartache/pain from friends/family being df
So although I'm a bit miffed I don't think my life was/is ruined. I just want to show compassion and finish out my last 20ish years on this earth being a good/kind human being and enjoying what I can.
