  Why Is Nothing Being Done About Looters?

  looting is happening everywhere like never before.

  brazen thieves walk into stores and bring a bag with them and simply throw whatever they choose in the bag.

  popular chain stores have closed in certain neighborhoods because it’s just not worth it.

  Australia has had its CARC.

  The UK has had its own inquiry.

  Other countries Spain, Germany, Russia Finland and others have taken the wt to task.

  I have a gut feeling that the crunch will eventuate in the US and individual jw's will feel the wrath of it when it does while the gb etal will be conspicuous by the absence.
  

  Looting to known jw homes and kingdom halls will happen and the gb will be crying out loud "persecution" while doing a runner for their own protection.

  am i looking forward to seeing this? No way at all having been a victim of crime myself.

  Are You Enjoying living in Jesus Christ`s Paradise after 40 years of his reign ?

  it has been 40 years since 1975 when 6000 years of human creation took place according to wt theology,when jesus christ was supposedly to begin his 1000 year reign in which earth was supposed to be turned back to an eden like paradise.. 1975 was the second attempt of the wt to predict when 6000 years of human creation took place,the first time it was supposed to have occurred was in 1872 .. so by that reckoning we should be living 40 years into jesus christ`s 1000 reign .. on the other hand wt theology states that jesus returned in 1914 to do what ?

  sit at his fathers right hand until 1975 ?.

  of course this all hinges on jehovah`s witnesses / watchtower belief that a creative day was 7000 years long that they taught for decades .. do they still cling to this belief ?

  "Young people ask" book claims 97% youth masturbatory or seen porn...not J.W youth??

  as a youg man this stunned me when i studied the original "youth" book 97% had done it so i thought soo that's pretty much everyone i guess the 3% were witness youth!

  also "awake" claimed 90% of students had accessed porn at some time.

  everyone is doing it i guess 10% are the witness youth...how dumb was i?.

  Oh dear here we go again. This one of those wt comment that beg the question;

  where the hell did they get those figures?

  Years ago one magazine article stated that Nuns are chronic masturbators and all the heads nodded. And again where the hell did the wt get that (claimed) information from.

  HELP NEEDED: Cases where sexually abused JWs were disfellowshipped as retaliation for reporting to authorities.

  i have read in this forum many compelling stories of people who were sexually abused as minors while associated with the jw's.

  i need to be directed to threads where victims tell their stories (preferably if these ended up in court) of abuse and where there was this key element to the story: they were intimidated with threats of excommunication to not report their abuse to authorities and/or they suffered retaliation in the form of disfellowshipping/disassociation for reporting the crime to the authorities.

  i recall one story, that i really would like to find again, when someone went to the elders with a complaint of having been sexually abused, the elders confronted the abuser and he denied.

  I have read of people threatened with "you could be sued for slander" but no one has ever laid out just how or by who.

  There is often this big boogieman threat thing held over jw heads and useful to them as the elders using it know the average and in the main jw have scant education and even less in such matters as being sued for slander.

  maybe someone can help me here:when i got baptized at age 23, an elder dropped a bombshell on me.

  he said that the new testament wasn't written for the great crowd (me).

  he said that it only applies to the anointed, and "by extension" the nt applies to the great crowd.

  when i see watchtower videos or interviews i can’t help but notice how bland and boring jws really are!

  they are so vanilla.

  no excitement, just robotic conversation.. what the hell happened to these people?

  • the hobbies we do,
  • the skills we use for whatever creative purpose
  • or is it the words we use from all the books we read.
  • May be we can have an input from some charitable work we do.

  Go Bag and Catastrophes

  i live with my parents in law and yesterday, my mother in-law was very nervous about an email she got from the brothers in her congregation.

  it was asking if she would be able to receive people over at our house should there be a catastrophe.
