  my tv has a few channels that only give audio but one of them 30 ?

  in australia had a program on sects and were discussing the jw.

  this was tuesday 14-12-21.. did anyone see this.

  Governing Body Update #9...Jehovah is guiding his people during the pandemic

  david splane starts off with, ''i thought we might reflect on jehovah's goodness and the way he's been guiding his people during the pandemic.''.

  not once in his talk does he mention that jehovah would give all members a super immune system that would fight off the virus.

  neither does he mention that jehovah would reduce positive covid-19 numbers, hospital admissions and covid-19 deaths of his people.. mr. splane: how does the almighty, all knowing jehovah guide his people during the pandemic?.

  "They said in their letter that JW's have a higher rate of deaths from the virus than the average population."

  this does not surprise me as over the years I have observed that as a group JW's are the unhealthiest of people.

  hello to all you good people.

  an elder who i knew in my jw days has just been employed at my place of work.

  now i want to be prepared for him when he encourages me to return to jehovah.

  I had a sister who would work casual at my place of work and would go on about "points" made in the wt etc. she was quite obviously scoring some "points" of her own, bouncing them off the other workers there.

  I had to tell her to leave off as I dont discuss these things at work.

  The CARC reported one girl victim of abuse by her father that she prayed for angels to protect her from his ravaging. .....They didnt.

  To hear her statements at the CARC was galling to the very core. Not even her mother would show care or protection for her own flesh and blood.

  a small incident happened to me today that has triggered me to say this.. how many of you have seen that jw are fairly hopeless and being anywhere on time.. an obvious one is the families that never miss a meeting and never miss arriving late with resultant fuss.

  .

  but in day to day things as well.arriving late for a paid job.. leaving early, ditto.. not turning up for a bbq without even a phone call.. being in all things disorganized.. and, how many of you have seen the above become the norm in people once they become jw that were not that way before....

  ivy hill congregation of jehovah's witnesses is currently suing the pa department of human services.

  it requests "a declaration that its elders are entitled to" clergy privilege, or, in the alternative,.

  to the extent that the clergyman privilege is determined to exclude its elders on the basis that they are "members of [a] religious organization[] in which members other than the leader thereof are deemed clergymen or ministers," the court declare the statute to be unconstitutional.

  Yes they obey. sort of.

  If the law does not require m.r. then they dont report and in wt logic(!) they consider they are obeying the laws.

  re clergy privilige.--They tried to pull that one on at the CARC in 2015 here in Australia and it flopped, big time. As the justice said you claim one thing in your publications then want to claim the oppositte (when the going gets hot) you cant have it both ways.

  2020’s are already a Train Wreck for JW ORG

  as the title says, we are nearly at the end of the 2nd year of the 2020’s, and already jw org is not only a car crash, but an absolute train wreck.. i’ve watched the annual meeting 2021 already, and it seems the gb are in fighting, morris openly disagreeing with lett, that is massive, and it’s something that has largely not been commented on by this community.

  covid-19 is not going anywhere, any trial meetings will surely be shut down, now omicron is doing the rounds.. it looks highly likely we will see a second negative growth year.

  “young ones” are waking up by the masses.

  consider the value of any wt figures..

  and as the social chaos in the US winds ever tighter around the masses the wt will reflect this in their pronouncements. Keep in mind folks that the wt in its entirety by thought by every culture is first and foremost parochial ..American. If folks in the us cant see this there are nations around the world who can.

  So I fear that should the wts/gb suddenly be "inspired" to call on all jw to do a death to the masses campaign it will be seen in the US as another weirdo spin off from the current chaos happening there. In other countries it might not be seen so charitably and the wt might get the martyrs they seem to want periodically.

  did your congregation have cliques?.

  usually centred around two competing elders (or the elder's wife).

  it could made obvious by whether you got to answer in the wt study.
