Interestingly, in Gospel of Barnabas [which was considered as an authentic Gospel till 3rd CE], this parable is slightly different:

"Again spoke Jesus, saying: "I set before you an example. There was A HOUSEHOLDER WHO PLANTED A VINEYARD, and made a hedge for it in order that it should not be trampled down of beasts. And in the midst of it he built a press for the wine, and thereupon let it out to husbandman. Whereupon, when the time was come to collect the wine he sent his servants; whom when the husbandman saw, they stoned some and burned some, and others they ripped open with a knife. And this they did many times. Tell me, what will the lord of the vineyard do to the husbandmen"

Every one answered: "In evil wise will he make them to perish, and his vineyard will he give to other husbandman." Therefore said Jesus: "Know you not that the vineyard is the House of Israel, and the husbandman are the people of Judah and Jerusalem? Woe to you; for God is wroth with you, having ripped open so many prophets of God; so that at the time of Ahab ;there was not found one to bury the holy ones of God!" And when he had said this the chief priests wished to seize him, but they feared the common people, which magnified him. (Gospel of Barnabas, Chapter 46)

The concept found in Mathew 21:37 that 'I will send my son, and they will surely respect him" is a later adoption.

Another interesting fact is that in this Gospel, Jesus us shown as who the 144000 real are. They are the total number of all prophets that have ever been sent by God on to this earth. (Chapter 17)

As waton got it rightly, in a PARABLE, aspects should fit—especially the very core of the Parable: 'All the emissaries were rejected, but surely my son will be accepted/appreciated/valued.' It is this core concept that is gone unfulfilled.

Again your, second point: “Point is that God sent Jesus first to the Jews.”

According to God and Jesus, there is no difference between Jews and Gentile, and making very such distinction itself is sin (Deuteronomy 10:17; Mathew 5:43-48) and thinking such distinction exists makes one worthy of losing God’s Kingdom. (Mathew 8:11-12)

Truth of the matter is that ‘Death of Jesus as a ransom sacrifice for the sins of the world’ is the invention of Paul the Apostate, hence rejection of everything what Jesus stood for. (Mark 4:24-25; Mathew 5:17-19) And such apostasy had already been foretold by Jesus. (Mathew 13:24-30) The only supposed reference Jesus made in Mathew 20:28 is deleted by Luke in his Gospel which was written after diligent comparison with existing manuscripts. (Luke 1:1-3; 22:24-27)

Here is another one:

In the famous Parable of the Tenants (Mathew 21:33-41) which is about the murder of Jesus which was later used as the basis for teaching Ransom Sacrifice of Jesus, Landowner is God, and son who was killed by the tenants is Jesus. The reason why Father sends his son is because earlier emissaries were not welcomed by the tenants because they were mere servants—hence father reasoned “They will respect my son.” (Mathew 21:37) Father (God) never thought Jesus would be killed while sending him from heaven . How could this happen to God? This would also imply that all those supposed prophecies Jesus fulfilled from Old Testament is mere misapplication.

New World Translation is not much different other translations

key scripture 2 timothy 3:16 should have been translated as “every scripture inspired of god is also profitable for teaching” like many other serious translations (such as american standard version ; douay-rheims bible etc) as it is what the greek text says.. this is in harmony with the contents of bible and also with the writer paul himself who knew after his departure ‘even from his own number men will arise and distort the truth.’ (acts 20:29-30) for example, verses such as romans 7:19 is such distortion.

such verses cannot originate from real paul who was “holy, righteous and blameless.” (1 thessalonians 2:10) hence paul had the freeness of speech to tell others to be “blameless” like him (1 thessalonians 5:19-23; ephesians 5:24) there are many things in the scriptures which are not inspired such as words of satan, words of job’s wife and his false friends, words of judas, lot’s daughters …etc.

apostle peter never disowned jesus because if he had done so, his contemporaries would have interrupted him when he rebuked jews, saying: “you disowned the holy and righteous one and asked that a murderer be released to you.“ (acts 3:14) his listeners would have asked him “what right do you have to reprove us for ‘disowning jesus” when you yourself have done it first?” all such verses or accounts were later adoptions.

NEW WORLD TRANSLATION too is influenced by other translations. Otherwise, JWs would have translated John 1:1 as "logos (reason) was God" as they rightly translated logikēn (adjective from logos) as "reasonable" (rendered by the power of reason) in Romans 12:1.

Logos has to do with something that is “actually subject to rigid laws of nature” which “could be discovered using reason and observation.” (Asimov’s Guide to the Bible: The New Testament: 002) In Greek, the word for “desire for recognition” is thumos, “the emotional element in virtue of which we feel anger, fear, jealousy etc” hence to be controlled by nous (intellect, reason), says Plato in his Republic (Book IV). In the Phaedrus, Plato depicts logos as a charioteer driving the two horses: eros (erotic love) and thumos (sense of prominence). Thus, the expression “Logos was with God and logos was God” in John 1:1 shows that God is not affected by uncontrallable desire nor by sense of prominence—and what HE does is always a reflection of Wisdom, Love, Justice and Power as symbolized by “eagle, human, lion and bull” respectively seen around throne of God. (Revelation 4:7)

If it had been rendered as “reason” it would have left this implied truth that God is not ruled by any strong desire nor by a sense of prominence. Anyone copying this attitude of God would bring peace to self and others because he too will resolve to live without strong desires and sense of prominence. Such a life style itself is a great freedom because when your desires are not strong, you won’t feel anger if they are not fulfilled or are obstructed, will not feel attached/greedy if they are fulfilled and will not feel envy at the fulfillment of desires of others. And in not having sense of prominence you feel no need vindicating yourself at any circumstance.

Such a translation is also backed by the overall theme of the Bible—God serves us WITHOUT EXPECTATION like sun (Mathew 5:43–48; Psalm 84:11) and “renews” the earth whenever we the children pollute it beyond repair through our greed (Mathew 19:28; Revelation 11:18) thus proving Himself as Servant of His children WITH NO STRONG DESIRE, WITH NO SENSE OF PROMINENCE. This is something Jesus has observed in HIM (John 5:19) which he made his final teaching. (Luke 22:24–27) Ezekiel’s vision of God using a unique chariot moving on wheels made of eyes that can move in any direction with absolute ease. This symbolically shows God has no strong desires but is flexible depending upon circumstances at hand. (Ezekiel 1:15–18) Moses’ word picture of God as “a mother who brought us with labor pain” symbolically shows God has no sense of prominence because mother is known for her delightfully serving her child even in the middle of the night. (Deuteronomy 32:18) ‘HIS happiness is in GIVING rather than in receiving’ (Acts 20:35) which too shows HE lacks sense of prominence.

If JWs had done this, they would not have taught Vindication of God’s Sovereignty as their main teaching.

Isn’t JW’s teaching of “the abomination that causes desolation” wrong?

what “the abomination that causes desolation” mentioned in mathew 24:15 means could be understood only by close followers of jesus because it was part of his personal discussion with them.

by stopping to greet those whom they consider as “their enemies” jws are identifying themselves as “pagans,” according to jesus.

(mathew 5:43-48) thus they cannot correctly understand what the abomination that causes desolation” that would appear as part of signs of “last days.”.

Disillusioned JW,

Because JWs’ Head Quarters is in the US soil, JWs naturally believe US-led-World Power is the King of the South which will win if there is a III World War. But larger perspective tells a different story.

Ukraine has been irritating Russia for decades now. (was fuming for many years) Putin doesn’t want the remnant of formerly glorious USSR to go into oblivion. Hence he knows what he is doing. He will not venture without thinking all the pros and cons. (Madeleine Albright had a lot to say about Putin — and she didn't mince words)

Putin is using Ukraine as a bait to drag the West into a real confrontation and West [King of North] will “storm” against East [Russia]. (Daniel 11:40) In the process, it will invade “Land of Beauty.” (Daniel 11:41) The word used for “beauty” is צֶ֫בִי (tsbiy) which Isaiah 24:16 equates with “beauty of the righteous ones” or “holy ones” (Mathew 24:22) on account of whom “Great Tribulation” will be cut short. And King of the North will meet its end. (Daniel 11:45)

King of North is the West because it started “pushing” (Daniel 11:40) towards its contrasting World Power (Russia)—through its expansion of NATO to the nose [tempting Ukraine] of Russia which has long back disbanded its THE WARSAW PACT [counter to NATO] in 1991. This Ukraine issue will climax in III World War and eventual use of all Nuclear Warheads which will make this earth again into ‘dark and formless’ as in Genesis 1:1-2. This gives opportunity for God to show again His unconditional love* by “Recreating” Heaven [Paradise] on earth. (Mathew 19:28) Hence the expression “these are the ones who came out of Great Tribulation.” (Revelation 7:14) This is also given in Nostradamus Prediction. (2020s: Decade of Destruction and Transformation)

*Unconditional love, because judgement is not based on belief system, but on whether one was humane in his dealing with fellow-humans. (Mathew 5:43-48; 25:31-40. Contrast what happens to believers. (Mathew 7:21-23; 8:10-12)

This has nothing to do with “abomination that causes desolation” mentioned in Mathew 24:15 which JWs mistook as UN. Governments or their any representative body cannot become abomination because they are collectively called "servant of God." (Romans 13:1-6) This is because they reward the good people and punish the criminals (Proverbs 21:1) Thus does the will of God on earth.

Religious leaders are called ‘brood of viper’ or serpent (Mathew 12:34; Luke 3:7) because they distort the true picture of God (Mathew 15:9; 23:13) and Law of Consequence (Mark 5:24-25), yet claim to be positioned in holy place. Original serpent suggested ‘God is an obstacle on your path to your ultimate progress which can be achieved only by rejecting His laws. They rejected laws such as Monogamy, and Vegetarian Diet (Genesis 1:29; 6:2; 10:9) which means they went after violence. Hence Jesus compared pre-flood world as being engrossed in “eating, drinking and marrying”—thus he deliberately left out any literally violent or wicked acts by men. (Mathew 24:37-39) For God even refusal to love is also “an act of violence and faithlessness.” (Malachi 2:16)

Religion continues to sanctify animal killings which God considers as an ABOMINATION which would automatically make killing of a human for sacrificial purpose EVEN MORE ABOMINATION in the eyes of God. (Isaiah 66:3-4) Through the celebrated teaching of Ransom Sacrifice of Jesus, God is presented as an incapable driver who uninsightfully drove his vehicle (creation) into an unknown and difficult terrain and did not know how to reverse and to put the vehicle on track again. He needed the help of Jesus who thus first became the Saviour of GOD HIMSELF and later Saviour of mankind who put faith in such act of ABOMINATION. (Mathew 24:15)

Hence wrong understanding + another wrong understanding would only make a big wrong!

growing up around the faith, whenever i heard something taught, i'd always think there is a different way of looking at that, probably better.. we always hear "this good news of the kingdom will be preached... " matt 24:14.. so i think, is there more to it than preaching the kingdom?.

Regarding a pagan, Jesus said: "When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. " (Mathew 8:10) Such instances are there at least four numbers--showing they are only sample and Jesus consistently praised good wherever it was found--whether it is pagan or not.

But JWs can never even think of doing such a thing!

When asked "Why did you break Sabbath?"

Jesus defended it saying “My Father worketh until now; and I work.” (John 5:16-17) God and Jesus worked all the days, which means Jesus was not aware of Genesis Account that describes a God who works six days and takes rest on seventh day. Concept of Sabath was later adoption. Yet Jesus did refer to what is given in Genesis 5:1 which says “God ‘made them male and female.” (Mark 10:6) Jesus upheld the SIMULTANEOUS making of mankind in “God’s image, as male and female”—not the God-dishonorng account of making woman out of rib out of man! God would never inspire an account which indirectly conveys the patriarchal mind-set—especially so when God Himself refers to Himself as woman and also as Father. (Deuteronomy 32:18; Isaiah 63:16; Mathew 6:9)

That means Jesus is not aware of a story that tells we became sinners because of first Adam, which requires second Adam, Jesus, should die on our behalf. Compare John 5:24; 1 John 2:17.
