Changes and why

so far these are all the recent changes i know of, please add more if i have missed anything.. 1. all construction projects have either been stopped or reduced.. 2. all bethels are downsizing by at least 20% within one year of the announcement, and almost certainly more in years to come.. 3. remaining belelites will have to make their own food, do their own washing and cleaning.. no more laundry department, no more kitchen and waiters, no more housekeeping!.

and you still only get 80 per month, but no rent or bills, and food will be provided in the family fridge but you have to prepare it yourself.. as to why, it has been said several times officially its not because of a lack of funds, but how could that possibly be the truth?.

I hear in NY Bethel all the brothers and sisters are getting 'trained' to clean their own rooms and do their own laundry.

Many housekeepers have already been kicked out, the last ones will be gone soon.

Did you actually read any of the 60 replies?

I read many great replies, people actually taking some of their time to explain some shit for you, trying to help you use your brain.

And you come back with "blah blah Jehovah lives in a WT blah blah"....

Go back to the Kingdom Hall, you will fit right in.

Yes I read all the replies, and have dug very deep, I would guess more than you.

Im really trying to get to the truth, Im on a mission to get to the bottom of it all.

There have been no replies to come up with one thing that shows JW org are further from the truth than any other option.

Yes I know you can find fault if you look hard enough, believe me I have looked very hard.

Yes there have been mistakes made, and imperfect humans will no doubt make more mistakes in the future.

But I now believe the entire Bible is Gods word, and that Jehovahs Witnesses are closest to the truth that anybody else. Far far closer than anybody else understanding of the bible.

Once again, what is the alternative? I know there are many here who strongly believe they JW's are wrong, so please sum up what is the alternative?

For example, when Jesus said "this is how you can identify my true followers, those who have love amongst themselves" which other organisation apart from JWs can also say that, in almost every nation around the world?

I dont think anybody else, but I could be wrong please give some alternatives?

So based from the fact that the WTS/JWS self identifies itself with a mis-translated latinised version of YHWH

(YAHWEH) originally created by Protestants ( False Religion of Babylon the Great ), that makes the JWS the nearest to the truth from the bible ?

How would like to be addressed or called a name that isn't even close to the original.

This is so basic its not worth typing, so Jesus is wrong way to say his name as well? What about Joshua, John, Joseph, and every other name that we say starting with J?

And why pick on the English language? What about the hundreds of other languages?

We all know they tried to replace the divine name with titles such as lord or god, but the original YHWH is the divine name, we just have do the best we can translating it in each language, we may not get it quite right as we all say it differently around the world.

But in line with this thread, what is the alternative? To not use a name and use a title instead?

The garage is now finished there, I saw pictures of it. It looks a more serious proper garage than the present one at Mill Hill, this new one is all set for dealing with more large trucks and even tractors and farming equipment.

I think they are just finishing off projects that were started, and waiting for plans for the redesign before continuing on a smaller scale.

The question remains will they sell some of the land now that its going to be a much smaller reduced project?

Can anybody find out about the farmers being contracted in for producing food for the smaller family?

thanks for replies.

My conclusions are that JW are the nearest to the truth from the Bible, they are the only ones to use the divine name.

But they are imperfect humans and mistakes are made.

Is Jehovah real? The the Bible is word? If not whats the alternative? I cant see how any thinking person can believe evolution.

so assuming that there is a creator and he wrote the Bible, where have JWs gone wrong?

Is it possible that they are nearest to the truth than any other religions? But yes there are mistakes made.

In my mind I still think JW are closest to the truth that any other religion, but there have been mistakes made and most certainly there are still some.

For my part Im still going to meetings, some say Im sitting on the fence so Im actually out, fair enough, at least Im thinking for myself.

I will be very interested to hear logical reasonable thoughts on this from anybody. But please do post childish not well thought out arguments...

How did Matthew Use the Word "Generation"?

when splane wanted a scripture that demonstrated the bible's use of the word he went all the way back to moses and used ex.

1.6. he could have stayed in the same book and used matthew chapter 1,written by the same hand.

I once asked someone years ago what if the end still hasnt come when the generation from 1914 have all passed away? They said the society will probably change it again.

So realistically this new understanding of overlapping generations, what is the longest time frame until they have to have another new understanding?

That brother would lived up to the 1990's from 1914, if somebody was anointed before he died so early 1990's then its their generation that will by no means pass away?

Some of the youngest members of the GB are now in their 50's, (but they are all obese) so they could easily live for another 30 something years?

What on earth will happen if they do die in the next few decades? There are not that many genuine anointed ones left, I mean its pretty obvious that someone not in their later life who claims to be anointed is not going to be? I dont think there are that many genuine anointed ones left who havent had their sealing moment?

Can the special pioneers, bethelites, and many other "servants", who are getting their benefits stripped, SUE THE WTBS?

i know in america, corporations, and businesses, are many times obligated to atleast continue certain medical benefits for an extended period of time, like a year or two, even after they are "let go".

i wonder how many older, special pioneers, missionarys, bethelites, and such, have pre-existing medical conditions, and need to have to continue their benefits for care?.

the wts, can send a letter saying " sorry your shits gone in 3 months", but is this really legal?

The Chronicle exclusively revealed in January 2014 how the IBSA is relocating the headquarters from Mill Hill in north London and build a printing plant producing up to 184,000 religious magazines an hour, accommodation for up to 1,200 Witnesses, parking for 1,040 vehicles and a hospital and playing fields."

With the downsizing going on elsewhere in the World, I wonder if in the end they will actually have 1,200 JW's on Site, and if they will need that printing capacity.

We shall have to see if these projected figures become reality, somehow I doubt it.

But I bet the guys in the Control Room at Cult Headquarters are licking their lips at the prospect of selling off all the holdings in the Mill hill area.
