Yes I think Mormons come the closest. They are the only ones who are coming close to following Jesus command to preach to all the nations.
But despite those pictures you dont get many non white mormans, certainly not 7 million active publishers like JW, and they do two years 'pioneering' then once saved always saved no matter what you do. After two years of preaching you are just getting some experience and then you never do it again, you get some other youngster to start his two years.- The mormons dont come anywhere near to being in all the inhabited earth like the witnesses, even in North Korea the Witnesses send some over from China, all top secret of course. Even in the Middle east Jehovahs people are preaching knowingly they risk having their head chopped off, a muslim becoming a JW is worse than one of the other christian denominations in chritendom. So the JW org is the only one who has love in all the inhabited earth.
But yes the Mormans do come closer than any other org except they have their own book of morman instead of the Bible.

Now they are members of the OSCE, the "Primary partner of the UN", according to the OSCE.
The cancer of corruption is so deeply rooted that the ORG cannot get rid of it. They can only manage it, for now.

punkofnice So about the true followers would have love among themselves, yes back in the 19th century and very early in the 20 century the JW org was not worldwide and they certainly needed some adjustments, these have been corrected.
The only modern source you quoted was that 1970's WT which I think gave very good advice .....

Basically race or skin colour does not come into it, its more about your compatibility. Two people could be different skin colour but very compatible, and some people of the exact same race are just not compatible.
The advice is " rightly weigh these factors" before considering marriage.
Im am still not convinced that JW org is NOT the only organisation who has love amungst themselves all around the world every tribe and nation.

Former brother "What is the JW alternative?"
Well, why not go to the source? The Catholic church gave the world the bible. The Catholic church gave the world the name Jehovah. The Catholic church gave the world schools, hospitals, orphanages, food banks, homeless shelters, old age homes and has shown all people how to love more than just love amongst themselves.
These are all real and true fruits. Name a JW fruit if there is such a thing please.

Changes and why
by Formerbrother inso far these are all the recent changes i know of, please add more if i have missed anything.. 1. all construction projects have either been stopped or reduced.. 2. all bethels are downsizing by at least 20% within one year of the announcement, and almost certainly more in years to come.. 3. remaining belelites will have to make their own food, do their own washing and cleaning.. no more laundry department, no more kitchen and waiters, no more housekeeping!.
and you still only get 80 per month, but no rent or bills, and food will be provided in the family fridge but you have to prepare it yourself.. as to why, it has been said several times officially its not because of a lack of funds, but how could that possibly be the truth?.

Per Tony Morris in his U.S. Zone meeting talk, addressing over 1.1 million JW's:
Sister's were warned that a male (brother), age 23 or older. Not currently serving as an MS or Elder. Would NOT make a suitable marriage mate.
So, any brother's over the age of 23 and not a servant, would now be viewed in the congregation in a negative light. Even if he is a nice humble brother, unless he is serving, he is a nothing to the org.
Since this talk, there has been no changes made to Tony's comment. It has become a new policy. This was done to use guilt and peer pressure to get more brother's to reach out!

To answer my original question what is the alternative, it seems that if you boil it down there are only 2.
1 Evolution, the Bible is just another book written by men.
2. There is a creator, and the Bible is his word, but JWs are not the closest, sombody else is the closet to to the truth.

What love have you experienced so deeply from them? If you have experienced this unprecedented love, why are you here? I have experienced individual love from them. But as a whole, I have seen that the more intimate JWs get with each other, the more they start to eat each other. All that condescending judgement, pious facade and conditional love really ate at me to the point where there was no alternative other than to puke them out of my life. You can only be a brainless yes-man in that organization for so long, but go ahead and give it a try! Maybe you are the personality type that just loves to lap all that stuff up! Hopefully not.

When you travel around the world and visit other congregations you soon see this is the only organisation that has love amongst themselves.
No other org has love between balcks and whites, asian, indian whatever, all around the world in all the nations.

No, actually we don't. Why force a translation of a name that even Jesus never used? If it was so important to make a modern, hybrid version of the tetragrammaton why didn't Jesus do so in his day? Where is the written record of him using the divine name? Why not just call god "father" or "Lord"? Truth shouldn't have to be forced or manipulated or modernized to fit the agendas of men. If god does indeed exist, then he/she/it knows who he/she/it is no matter what name/title you choose to call he/she/it.

Well thinking about it I never really use my fathers name, I always refer to him with titles because he is my Dad.
If somebody calls their father by his name then they are not that close to him, more like estranged children call their dad by their name.
Edit: What a load of rubbish, Jesus did use the divine name man many times. for example he said it is Jehovah your God you must worship and him alone,
This is just another example of bitter people making things up.

Im surprised nobody has posted about one of the largest ew changes, the new reporting system.
So it seems placing literature is not so important anymore, now that we live in a digital age.
We are being pushed to show videos instead. This is the new reporting from next month, just hrs and ANY literature placed in one box and then how many videos you showed in another box.
Big changes for sure.
