  hi - first some context - i have been pimo for about 20 years now and so have been to a lot of assemblies in that time.

  last weekend i went to a circuit assembly and for the first time afterwards i was able to talk directly to someone who knows i'm out.

  i realised then that although i didn't agree with any teachings (i sat picking holes in the arguements as usual) the experience of being there had affected me - the way of life started feeling normal as did the overall way of viewing the world.

  I have now been asked to sign the form, I just read the first paragraph and it says signing this means you have read and understood something or other, so I asked the Elder what this is that I would be agreeing that I have read and understood?

  He said well your the first person to ask me that.

  So that means everybody else is lying saying they have read and understood something if they signed this without reading the other thing they said they had read.

  atlantis recently leaked hours of videos recommended only for immature audiences, in this case bethelites, so i thought i'd share just a few highlights of things that stood out to me, along with some screenshots.. some minor renovation/cleaning was done at patterson, including white paneling in the auditorium and cleaning out the plant alcoves under the stairs, one of which was said to have a big spider cave.. .

  there was the bethel office picnic, with lots of activities and pizza.. .

  Then there is the signet rings worn by each member of the GB. Look at them in all the videos, all displaying their watches and their rings.

  what splain does in his talk and chart illustration is make the leap that a generation can have two groups.

  and in this case the two groups span more than 108 years.

  but no where in scripture is there ever a notion that a generation has two groups.

  Its all putting too much into what Jesus said "truly I tell you that this generation will by no means pass away"

  What on earth will happen when the current crop of GB embers pass away?

  There is no way they can recover from this, this is a thousand times worse than 1975.

  But its great for the current GB members to keep tight control now, and after they have died they dont need to worry about how their predecessors try to do damage control.

  They can live in luxury now.

  Apostate is an easy excuse

  it seems to me that if there is something that any jw doesnt want anybody to look into, then they can just say the one word apostate, and nobody wil look at it.. this is rather convenient.. what if it is the truth, still dont even look at it to find out?.

  If it is saying something bad about Jehovah or Jesus then some of the videos about members of the governing body are not apostate?
