New Book: Pure Worship of Jehovah—Restored At Last!
by Afterburn init is a new book, now available on their website in pdf, and it is basically an update to survival—into a new earth!
(1984), the book that convinced me to get baptized at age 12.. i'm not going to review the entire book here.. because matthew 28:18-20 specifies baptizing as part of the great commission, and because hebrews 6:1-2 lists the teaching on baptisms as among the primary doctrine about the christ, i intend to focus on the portion of the new publication that deals with baptism.. in chapter 16, on pages 178 and 179, paragraph 17 states:.
17 to survive the coming destruction, individuals need to prove their faith now.

Have you guys ever think that the treatment of the Catholic Church and the sexual abuse by the governments is more or less like the so called 'attack on Babylon the Great'?.
I mean, this dance of millions is gonna end with this guys 'devastated and naked', bankrupt. They should pay for their sins of course, but this is not gonna end well for religion, including the Borg.
Maybe this is the reason why in Revelation, kings wept for Babylon's demise.

Democrats could do a way better...but they are too left, they lost touch with real people, they keep talking about esoteric things like the green deal from AOC...

I'm just so sad and now I'm mad
by KimD ini'm just so sad and i'm so angry at myself for believing and living a lie.
i hurt so many people in my family by becoming a jw....why didn't i listen to my sweet grandfather when he cried and begged me not to become a jw...i truly thought it was the truth...my grandfather cried...he was so hurt....my bible study teacher told me that satan would test me and my grandfather's pleas were my first test...he's gone now...years before i left the religion....i so wish that i could tell him that i am sorry and how very much i loved him...

Not JW related, but should the electoral college be abolished?
by Billzfan23 inelizabeth warren, alexandria ocasio cortez, and other democrats are openly expressing interest (and in come cases, campaign promises) that the electoral college has to go.
i disagree for a few reasons.
first, the 25 states (out of 50, so 50%) with the smallest populations only get 21% of the electoral college votes (in our current system, today).

The Electoral College shouldn't be abolished because is working just fine, of course it's not perfect but gives power to people in States that a simple majority could leave outside. Just check, each State have two Senators, not taking in account how bigger or smaller they are.
Changing the rules each time we don't like could look great at the moment. Remember, it seems now a long since the Senate changed the so called 'nuclear option', I mean things could backfire.

Climate Change - True Believer or Skeptic?
by Simon inclimate change ... who doesn't believe it?
crazy fools and science deniers ... right?.
it seems like it's become the new religion, the new orthodoxy, that must be accepted and believed as gospel and preached to all.. is it ok to be skeptical?.

It's not just putting recklessly all those gases in the atmosphere that are interacting in ways that we really don't know with the Earth, it is also polluting the planet with plastics, chemicals and other things....guess we're in a big experiment, call me in 100 years, not gonna be here is people's attitude.

by Room 215 inhttps://www.worldreligionnews.com/religion-news/russia-confiscates-30-4-million-property-jehovahs-witnesses.
it would appear that with this most recent confiscation the total taken from the jws by moscow amounts to more that $75 million.
(ouch!

Religion shouldn't be a pawn in geopolitical games....the Russian are confiscating JW property because of the US sanctions...but they're mistaken, the Borg is pretty inoffensive.

Are You Horrifed if Someone Goes Into a “Massage Parlor”?
by minimus inyesterday, robert kraft, the owner of the new england patriots, got busted for getting a massage and more.
they say there is another more high profile person who also got busted.. does this stuff upset you that some men have gone into a massage parlor for possibly more than a massage?
?.

Ohhh...I would horrified for NOT going into a "massage parlour"....but seriously, it is morally wrong to pay for sex.
However that has been happening to humanity since forever....just remember the history in the Bible about Judah paying for sex with a woman....
The thing is that it needs to be a human way to deal with that....governments have been criminalizing prostitution all the time and usually the people that offer the service got in jail....and the guys that paid or the pimps just walk away.
It's incredible that this millionaires got the trouble in Florida for $75 an hour...instead of going to those places in Nevada where is legal. No worries, they have the best lawyers in the world. Just see, the media become silent too, no hope altogether to know the names in the 200 + list of parlour's clients
