i have a few jw relatives who are true believers.
by this i mean, they believe with all their heart that 1914 was the beginning of the last days, that this is the last generation, that we are in the very last of the last hour of this system of things, and that you should obey the governing body even if it does not make sense.
all of them are in their 60s and up into their 90s there is nothing you can say or show them to convince them or even cause a small doubt that the wt is not god organization.
TRUE BELIEVERS? Easy, about the 8 and something millions of publishers. People that are able to put a face and go door to door, at least before the pandemia. However there are a lot of others that are "symphatizers" like one person that I know, he is not at meetings, etc. but one time say to me "In my heart, I know is the truth" !

it says that by 2030 meat is gonna be a treat not widely available like today, that the us is not gonna be a global superpower anymore, instead a handful of countries will dominate and that people is not gonna own nothing but will be happy.. well, that would help the borg to keep the craziness going on.. thoughts?

Part of earth's story, geology, the movement of the tectonic plates recycle the crust renovating it. Tsunamis, a collateral damage. It's just like in developing countries, people build into nearly the creeks and when a really bad rain comes, they are like: "why is this happening to us?".
