Will recent dress-code changes affect the WTS negatively?

in a span of a few months time, we have had many unexpected changes announced by the jw organization.

some here have expressed the belief that a great number of witnesses will leave the religion.

in fact, there is a great probability the opposite will be true.. yeah, ancient hardliners will have a hard time assimilating these changes, but the younger generation will likely welcome these changes.

Not al all....meetings were like funerals with all that formal attire....now it's gonna look more churchlike.

These are my predictions, and these changes are loooong overdue.

Baptism, for legal challenges, no more baptism for minors, you're gonna need of legal age of consent. Maybe re-baptism for minors already in the Borg when they are 18?

Women, (it's incredible they're wasting half of their members....) at least allow them to become ministerial servants...an easy change, remember Romans 16:1?

And last but not least, pioneers have fulfilled their purpose, if you are spending in good conscience more than, let's say 40 hours preaching you could consider yourself a pioneer....no more bothering about reporting hours...who wants a two tier rank and file? Besides that would represent a good amount in savings...

However, don't give them ideas. ..

Hailstone message AND everyone will be saved? Questions

i’ve not been paying close attention to watchtower developments, but talking to a jw yesterday it occurred to me the society (yes, still use that term - old school) have been sending out mixed messages in recent years.

from what i gather, a few years ago the gb announced that during the great tribulation jws would be required to preach a “hailstone message of judgement” which involved telling people it was too late for them to repent and they were definitely going to be destroyed.

there were hints that this could be very soon, “any day now” preaching could stop and the hailstone message come in, kind of thing.

Well, there are two things that you guys are missing, the article says that just very few wicked people isn't gonna be resurrected, like Judas Iscariot and not surprising 'unrepentant apostates' , that leaves the door open for almost everybody.

I find interesting the picture in the article about a woman watching on TV the attack on religion.... clearly they are betting on really massive repentance.

Anyway, there are a lots of , as they say 'we don't know'.

Maybe the hailstorm message was Tony's idea....anyway they could opten for a 'light hailstorm message ' and declare it over....nothing surprise me anymore en the JW land.

btg is spotlighted as being the principal "disgusting thing" which affects christians & christianity, with other lesser "prostitutes" in the background... I'll bet this new GB in process gonna go back to the cross (remember the crown and the cross, many years ago?), they have support in the Bible where it says something like "take your cross and follow me constantly".

It's not like they gonna be worshipping the cross or with images of the Egyptian cross ansata...

Remember, mainstream is the motto now

I remember the book of Job, how it was allowed to suffer, and how Lucifer? , was in talking terms with God ...

You guys should remember the war in heavens in the book of Revelation, too. Imagine if the dark side have won..

So... I'm giving up, they are created 'good' and anyway they like the dark side.

One last question, if they are good to indulge in the dark side, because of the 'free will' ...why they aren't allowed to repent?

Well guys, take it to the next level then, why the angels, and of course the Devil, being made perfect, choose wickedness....?

I know, they say because of the their will, but my question is, if you're absolutely perfect and absolutely in the good side, not even ever are you gonna be tempted about going to the dark side.
