Are Beards becoming more acceptable due to decline in membership?
by UnshackleTheChains ini noticed a young brother with a beard being given more privelages within our hall.
when he first grew his beard, he lost his privelages.
but more and more recently he has been helping out a lot more.. the cobe is old school and a stickler for rules, but with the hall becoming more empty these days, and the need for young brothers, he seems to have relaxed on this particular watchtower/man made rule.

What Do You Think A CIA Or NSA Security File On The Watchtower And Tract Society And It's Governing Body Would Say?
by Brokeback Watchtower ini'm sure that a top secret security clearance not very high up the chain of command would show a ton of information, .
i mean everything that happens on the internet and on computers i'm sure is assessable to the us intelligence community, why would the government not pass up an opportunity to spy on it's population and run all internet data through homeland security to protect it's interest both home and abroad, realistically thinking that is.. so with this in mind what would a highly classified report look like?
.

It would say something like this "fringe Christianity group, practice neutrality in world's affairs, pretty harmless people, leave them alone....."

Is A Major Coup At Warwick Forming Due To Governing Body Dementia?
by Brokeback Watchtower inthink about if you had to be at the governing body's beck and call(gb helper/slave) in all this charade of them being some faithful & discreet bullshit and got to know them personally wouldn't you be happy to see them replaced from controlling power had you half a brain after listening to all that self serving propaganda bull shit and seeing the utter bullshit you have been under and all that mind controlling shit you been fed at the hands of these delusional bull shit artist.
wouldn't you see it as some great humanitarian interest to seriously fuck these ass holes the best way you could.

JW.ORG turning into an evangelical clone
by Pistoff ini clicked this link to the november 2017 tvjw video, in it they defend their 2 witness policy, though, gutlessly, they do not mention it in the context of child sexual abuse.. anyway, check out the christian jehovian song at 57:06, ugh, makes me nauseous.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksz0qiftsok&feature=youtu.be&t=53m25s.

My thoughts on Church shootings..
by DATA-DOG indisclaimer: i do not approve or condone any acts of violence that result in the deaths of innocent persons.. alright.. let me just say that i have no idea what motivated the latest mass shooting, nor do i condone those actions.
i am, however, beginning to understand why some individuals may feel that violence is their only choice, although i do not approve of that choice.. when i read topics on this forum that concern religion and legalism, topics that drone on and on, getting nowhere, i feel extremely frustrated.
yes, religions are given certain freedoms, but many are obviously going beyond the spirit that motivated the separation of church and state.

"some individuals may feel that violence is their only choice..." but of course individuals mentally disturbed, insane. It's not the law of the jungle.

What can the leadership at Watchtower do to turn things around?
by UnshackleTheChains inlet's play devils advocate here.. put yourself in the governing body's shoes.
they are well aware of all the issues they are facing.
they know their numbers (they 'do the math' as they say in the us).

WT could use some of the billions they collected in a worlwide last campaign....then make the actually mandatory preaching an 'optional thing' saying in change "you should testify by living an exemplary, Christian life" but they are not going to do that....at least in our lives.
