Not saying you've made all of this up. I know about the child abuse cases. The money trouble concerns me. I would like to share this with someone I know. Truly concerned.

by Hecce inthis notice is not official yet and it should be confidential until released thru the proper channels.
a friend of mine told me about a huge elders meeting in southern california.
the subject was the relocation and dissolution of some congregations; it seems that this is the result of some project that has been going on for some time and is going to be implemented right now.. please let me know if this is happening all over the country?.

This organization is being hammered with child abuse lawsuits all over the world, and WT Society's credit rating has gone to shit with Bank of America who blackballed them for defaulting on construction loans, which probably means they cannot get credit with other major lenders now for construction. Which is another reason they've had to stop construction all over the world and send workers home- except of course not their upstate New York facility - that's priority where the " big boys " will live - so it's considered more important.
Flipper you posted this 2 months ago. I have to say I am shocked by the "bad credit" statement. I always assumed with the amount of money, assets and donations, that Wt. could accomplish any construction they wanted.
Could you please furnish any quotes, newspaper articles or such, to back up this statement.
I have a lot of doubts and concerns about the org. and I would be interested in pursuing this enquiry.

Circuit Overseer Removed in Texas

I liked Thomas Chin. I grew up in Ca. but moved to southeast Mo.(long story).
What I loved about him was his ability to out- think and butt kick the average good ole boy around these parts. It was a joy to watch. .. It cracked me up... This KH was a loose canon full of true idiots, who "all combined" probably had a 3rd grade education. I am not exaggerating, you would have had to see it firsthand for yourself.
To give you an idea of this group, many drove to the KH with dogs in the back of their trucks. More than once I recall a fist fight in the parking lot. My greatest regret is, that I did not take notes on all the bizarare expressions they used. For instance, "if ya aint fir hem, yor a ginn hem"! I swear it was Mark Twain with out the wit and meaning.

so let me get this straight.. the borg moves into their new corporate country club....
by nowwhat? inwith their luxurious lakeside condos.
takes all the congregations funds promising new kingdom halls.
but instead starts selling off kingdom halls ..then makes faithful old brothers and sisters drive 20-30 miles to another one, and .kicks out half the bethelites for only only tech savy college educated ones.can barely afford to send out printed publications anymore.

flipper I agree with you. There are ones that notice things are not quite right. I know a couple of bro. who have have volunteered their time to work on Walkil and they come home atonished by the sheer scale of this building production. This is a multi-million$ project. It is a community they are building.
Many seem to be honestly impressed and act as it this will be" it", no more building projects. This whole complex will be the beginning in the new world....
I attend periodically and I visit the website regularly. I am concerned with many things I see happening. I do know that you will rarely hear anyone talk about it in private.
That's why this forum is so important to expressing our concerns with anonymity and without fear of reprisal.

Yes, My daughter is very much involved as I was at one time. I set a good example for her. Now she considers me a bad influence. Wow how the tables have turned. I have many regrets and have reaped the consequences. I fortunately reaquainted myself with siblings years ago and tearfully apologized for losing touch. You know how it is, they're not the best association. It stings and hurts.... now I know how my siblings felt. I'll take my lashes now.
God, its a mixed up world. Why did I ever believe I should abandon them. One is disfellowshiped and a wonderful person she was 18. My other sister tried so hard to connect. Im so glad they had more love in their hearts than I had in my actions. Shame on me. It has worked out well.

Hidden message in JW bunker video?
by Dunedain inso, i was speaking with a relative recently, who is "in" the borg, but is completely aware of the terrible hypocrisy from the gb down.
he is not in the box, and its great to be able to have a realistic, and logical discussion about the current state of the org.. we started discussing, specifically, about that bunker video that was released in december.
how it is being played at all the conventions.

I am so glad to read this. I went to Friday and Saturday of the convention but did not go Sunday. What has been disconcerting is the amount of "frenzied thoughts" circulating after. Everyone is saying to prepare for the great tribulation because it's here!! To heighten this frenzy, was the lack of announcement of a convention for next year. Everyone has somewhat emulated the thought if your "weak" or "disfellowshiped", get away. They are breaking ties, it appears. Which is ridiculous and scary all in one. No man can keep the Creator from saving a life of someone who they may not deem as good enough to live. It's scary because for the last couple of years a statement has been made that if the GB asks you to do something that seems odd, don't question it. It will mean your life.
What to make of all of this? I do believe the end may come someday but I am terrified that if my life depends on the Witnesses they will not help me.
I do believe its fear mongering but its scary no matter how you look at it.

in case you don't know him, he was a jw that defended many of the jw doctrine publicly.
he did this mainly in the form of two books, jw's defended and three dissertations on the teachings of jw's.

Scratchme1010 I do have many concerns but I know they will pass. I will pursue what I pursued my entire life only in secret. The arts, science and mysteries... the unknown. I love our big world of info. I never could do anything witlhout guilt. I cant tell you how many time I got caught up on a painting and didnt study for the meeting. There I would sit with small remnants of paint on a nail and think I hope no one sees my unstudied lesson.
No, life goes on. But pain does remain. I will fake it with my daughter and act as normal as possible. Try to act like nothing is wrong. As a witness, I have gotten good at faking. lol
I'm really not good at it and I know I do it all in vain..

How very touched I am by all of your comments!!!! I have dreamed of expressing these thoughts. I have kept them pent up for so long. I know the witnesses see it and sometime I forget who I am talking to and let my thoughts slip but pull them back quickly. Thank you all.
