I studied Russian 40 years ago in elementary school and I can still read it easily! I understand maybe a half what I read, after decades of absence. Started with English some years later :) Is there any non-official JW or exJW site like this one, where people exchange their own experiences?

As a Jw, Have you ever tell an elder, pioneer, or other Jw to go pissoff!
Yep, at least in two occasions. The first one: I met an elder in the town, and he start to object to me because I went to college (mostly to avoid military service, but I graduated eventually) and in the same time his two sons, raised in the "truth", was dfed, one because of prostitution and other one becouse of using/dealing drugs. And I yelled all kind of F words to him in the middle of the town main walk area, and dozens of people heard all about that, how JW elder raised two town bums but have objections if someone try to move up.
The second one: some years later I had "privilege" to work in the company runned by an elder, and it was managed like the congregation: only elders could be managers, pioneers had special bonus, and so on, you can imagine. And I witnessed so many frauds, manipulations, dishonesty, and in one occasion I said to one elder F word infront of at least 5 other elders. No one reacted. Just a few days later company owner (local elder) said to me "it was already time for someone to tell him". That was maybe 25 years ago, when I still was PIMI. Both of them was pompous pricks, and they learned to avoid me.

After that Gary Breaux talk in November 2017, there was an article in Watchtower July 2018, pg 32, Questions From Readers: "If an unmarried couple spend the night together under improper circumstances, would that constitute a sin meriting judicial action? Yes, if there are no extenuating circumstances, a judicial committee would be formed on the basis of strong circumstantial evidence of sexual immorality." - nothing about two witness, but "strong circumstantial evidence" is enough.
And again, Watchtower May 2019, pg 11: In the congregation, before the elders take judicial action, why are at least two witnesses required? This requirement is part of the Bible’s high standard of justice. When there is no confession of wrongdoing, two witnesses are required to establish the accusation and authorize the elders to take judicial action. (Deut. 19:15; Matt. 18:16; read 1 Timothy 5:19.) Does this mean that before an allegation of abuse can be reported to the authorities, two witnesses are required? No. This requirement does not apply to whether elders or others report allegations of a crime.
So, you can be charged and sentenced for an serious offense, but if there no two witness, elders will do nothing officially, no congregational measures at all. But if you spend some time alone with the opposite sex and you both claim that nothing happened (at least nothing without mutual consent), you will be judged "on the basis of strong circumstantial evidence"?

How Often is 1914 Openly Spoken of at the Meetings?
by Number 6 inas someone who left in 1991 aged 21, one of my overriding memories of growing up in the watchtower was being able to "prove" the end times by referencing 1914.. major change in 95 then again after that.
if i'm being honest i could not even tell you now what the current teaching is.. for those who still attend the meetings, is it still openly spoken about?
i genuinely curious as i wonder if the teaching will be altogher dropped eventually, and one of the easiest ways to achieve that is to stop speaking about it.

1914 is rarely spoken last years, but it is mentioned in WT Public Edition No.2 2020, which will be offered in Worldwide Campaign in November 2020:
"The sign that Jesus gave, along with Bible chronology, helps us understand that God set up his Kingdom in heaven in the year 1914. * At that time, he installed his Son, Jesus Christ, as King."
Asterix * leads to -607+2520=1914 math, so they obviously don't planning to abbandon 1914 soon, IMHO.

Disfellowshipped for NOT activating my camera on ZOOM meeting
by Aleph inhey so i won't go too much into the details though there would be so much more to say....in a nutshell, you are repentant but not enough so we disfellowship you ....i asked, can you clarified this "not enough repentant" please ?as one of the reason of not being repentant : " you didn't put on your camera during zoom meetings !!!
" they yelled at me, like a bunch of wolves against a sheep....so :.
- no scriptural basis.- abuse of power.- my phone can't handle to have its camera on more than 20 minutes.then they yelled " jehovah does want you in the congregation" !like you are not welcome here....strangely to me, isaiah 1:18 and the story of the prodigal son tells a complete different story....well the whole bible is about love forgiveness and repentance !!

Keeping camera ON during ZOOM meetings isn't required until your have a talk or presentation (not even then, if your device does not support video), and no one forcing or asking anyone to put camera ON, so please don't buy or sell that stories about being DF because of that.

Just to notice, even in 1976 book "Good News" (pg. 60, 61) says: "[...] This would indicate that this ‘rest day’ would be of seven thousand years’ duration. (Genesis 1:28; Revelation 20:4) It is reasonable to conclude that each of the six preceding “days” of creation would occupy similar periods of time [...]".
But, in crazy seventies, they also believed that "heart of man is the powerhouse of one’s desires, emotions and affections" and that "moral and spiritual state" of man can be "examinated" in one's kidneys...

I was still a teenager when i was appointed as MS, and i was eager to help, so they gave me more and more jobs to do. And we went to some shepherding visits, 2/3 was about "my wife won't have sex with me, please talk to her". I asked my father who was also an elder, "is that common to ask elders such things?" and he said "it is nothing, you will be suprised what we deal in our congregation". And i thought to myself "i will better skip that knowledge".
Month or two later, i was in field service with an elder, and he asked me "do you want to serve more, maybe like elder some day or something?" I said "not really, i'm ok doing just technical jobs as MS". He was really disapointed. Next evening, my father (also an elder) ask me about yesterday's service, what did we talk, what did i said, and he said "that was just formality, we prepared your appointment for next week, now you ruined it, who could imagine that you will said 'no'", and he started to laugh. I laughed too, and said "let me mics and books and forms, but dont ask me to poke my nose to other people's laundry". And i never regreted.

What to do with old publications
by TonyMorronTheTurd inhi guys,.
it's been a while since i posted here, but i feel like posting again.. it's hard sometimes to find the energy to post here after i expend all my time working a full time job and pretending i care about the wt$ at the same time.. i've been trying to slowly wake my girlfriend up ever since i first posted here, and i must say it is a long waiting game that i am playing right now.
almost all my efforts are dismissed and i've been slowly losing hope.. anyways, what i meant to really post here today is about old publications.. honestly anything that has to do with the watchtower and jdubs, as of recently makes me feel like vomiting.

Maybe local library (some archive section) would be interested in bound volumes.
