  Did you stop believing Armageddon is coming?

  how many just stopped believing in the jw predictions/description of what armageddon is all about?

  ive met exjws that stopped believing in everything they were taught and ive met some that stopped believing in everything except armageddon.

  ive heard comments like: boy wont they be surprised when the day comes and they find out they arent the only ones surviving.

  How many just stopped believing in the jw predictions/description of what Armageddon is all about?

  I’ve met exjws that stopped believing in everything they were taught and I’ve met some that stopped believing in everything except Armageddon. I’ve heard comments like: “Boy won’t they be surprised when the day comes and they find out they aren’t the only ones surviving”. Or, “When Armageddon comes and they find out they were wrong”. I was talking to one ejw that still believes in Armageddon but not everlasting life in paradise conditions.

  Some that stopped believing in anything that has anything to do with religion or the bible.

  Do you still believe Armageddon will come? Ever?

  Society letter read to all congregations July 28,2006 !!

  i got news of this from the jw grape vine today that at the meeting on thursday(yesterday) there was a letter read to all the congregations from the society.

  for the first time the society says in the letter to prepare for great tribulation and to have plenty of emergency supplies in case of a disaster.

  this has shaken the up the jws it seems.

  my good witness friend was trying to encourage me spiritually and this is what's being speculated among the witnesses.

  how long was adam alone before eve was created, well at least 31 years so far.

  1975 was the end of 6000 years of man's existence.. from 1975 to 2006, it is 31 years.. when was jesus ministry over?

  how many of you guys are like me?

  raised in the truth, (or joined later), but here we are, finding ourselves in our thirties, forties, or fifties....and the end hasn't come.

  we were never supposed to get this old!.

  I'm 48. It don't last forever. I stopped getting carded for liquor about 2 years ago. And someone called me MAM! I will still get asked for my ID... in a dark club. I've never looked my age. I was athletic my entire life, I think it helps. Laugh and try to find the bright side of things as much as possible. I think that does more to keep you young then anything.

  Mulan I would NEVER guess you were 61 I hope I look as good at 61.

  No Resurrection For Disfellowshipped?

  sorry if this has been covered already.. 1) what is the written policy about disfellowshipped ones having a resurrection?.

  2) what if the disfellowshipped one is d'd for apostasy?.

  reason i ask is an ex elder who was disfellowshipped for apostasy is very ill and may very likely die soon.

  Looking for sources as to number who left JWs from 1975 to 1980

  i'm looking for sources as to the number of jws who left the organization from 1975 to 1980. i realize that the information can be extrapolated from the published statistics but i'd particularly like to find a citable source that gives the information, especially from the news media.

  any help would be greatly appreciated.
