  should a female publisher wear a headcovering if she is accompanied by a male publisher at a door step bible study?

  when a female publisher conducts a regular ,scheduled bible study and a male kingdom publisher is present, she should wear a head covering.(1cor.

  11:3-10)the july 15, 2002 issue of the watchtower, page 27, explains: this is a pre arranged session of teaching where the one conducting the study actually presides.

  "i'm perfect, you're doomed" by kyria abrahams, 2009, touchstone.. if you want a way to get people out of that horrible cult, easily, quickly and expeditiously, then here is how to do that.. i can say with a vote of confidence that anyone who reads this book will never and i mean never become a dub.

  dubs who read it (assuming they have at least one or two brain cells left) will run from their religion like flies on shit when you pour bleach on it and blow it up with dynamite.. toss away crisis of conscience, apocalypse delayed, 30 years a watchtower slave and all those other very nice books and read this one.

  i read those and all the other ones.

  No matter what is said, whether exciting or boring, the R&F will ooooo and ahhhhh and be talking for some time how wonderful it was and how wonderful God's Organization is and how this really shows that the GB is getting everyone ready for the GT! Praise be to the Governing Buddies! God's chariot is on the move! Keep up or get left behind.

  It isn't a change of the 1914 doctrine ... at least at this point.

  It is a change in the identity of the Faithful and Discreet Slave and their appointment and the identity of the domestics.

  i just received an email notification from the california appellate court hearing the wt appeal of the conti case:.

  the case has been fully briefed.. the case is on the conference list.. the oral argument waiver notice has been sent.. .

  i'm not well versed in the process or these terms.

  Great summation.

  If the Governing Body were truly humble men, they would have accepted the jury’s decision and done everything possible to protect children from the obvious flaws in their child abuse policies. Instead, they are being dragged kicking and screaming towards a likely appeal defeat, with no dignity or humility whatsoever. And the louder they scream, the more pathetic they look.

  July 2013 WT Sunday ? Who is now the FDS ?

  continue on wt july 2013...a question to all...so, the congregation gets fed spiritual food by the fds (past & now), right?

  the great tribulation and beyond.. but the article says, the fds will not come until after the un will attack christendom, jehovah will cut short the attack on false religion; god's people will be saved, then...jesus will judge people of all nations as sheep or goats, then.....jesus will appoint the faithful slave over "all his belongings ....so, have the fds been appointed as of yet & if not who has been given the congregation the spiritual food upto now...i'm confused...no i'm not..i do understand...i think a bunch of guys been feeding us.... i spoke to one of the sisters & she said, that jesus will appoint the slaves & give them additional duties...uh ?

  the floor is open...will welcome all thoughts..... legacy.

  In a nutshell ....

  The Faithful and Discreet Slave is an arrangement, this arrangement currently exists in the form of the Governing Body alone and no longer includes all living anointed JW's. Prior to the formation of the official Governing Body, this included anointed ones at Watchtower headquarters who were in positions of authority.

  The Faithful and Discreet Slave has two appointments.

  1. Appointed in 1919 to be God's sole channel of communication to provide spiritual food

  2. Future appointment over all of his belonings.

  ... apparently, Jesus appointed them to provide spiritual food at the proper time in 1919, and when he returns at some future time, he will be so thrilled that they did fulfill their duties as a Faithful and Discreet Slave that he will give them the secondary part and appoint them over all of his belongings.

  In light of the new understanding of the Faithful and Discreet Slave, is it appropriate to refer to C.T. Russell as Brother Russell?

  In the past, some well meaning ones took it upon themselves to refer to C.T. Russell as Brother Russell, however, this was never endorsed by the Faithful and Discreet Slave. While it is true that C.T. Russell used his unrighteous riches in founding The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, one must keep in mind that prior to 1919, there was no organization approved by God and no Faithful and Discreet Slave. In 1919, well after Russell was dead, Jesus inspected all men of faith claiming to be Christian, and, after completing that inspection, found that only the responsible ones directing the Watch Tower Organization had the proper heart condition to serve as his Faithful and Discreet Slave. It was at this moment that Jesus began a cleansing of the Organization of its Babylonish ways. Keep in mind, it wasn't what was being taught that mattered to Jesus, it was the attitude of those in control, and Jesus apparently liked what he saw.

  Since C.T. Russell died before the selection of the Faithful and Discreet Slave, and taught some really crazy stuff in the first six volumes of Studies in the Scriptures as well as his posthumous seventh volume, all of which Jesus did away with rather quickly, he was just as much a part of Babylon the Great as the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Therefore, just as one of Jehovah's Witnesses wouldn't refer to John Wycliffe as brother Wycliffe or Martin Luther as brother Luther, it wouldn't be appropriate to refer to C.T. Russell as brother Russell as he never was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
