New sad song: 0940 Our Spiritual Mother

you might like our new song on you tube titled '0940 our spiritual mother' about the experience her 'children' have had as jehovah's witnesses.

it's a reworded version of mother (pink floyd) set to new and historic watchtower images.. some who've already seen it have been kind enough to describe it as 'incredibly sad', 'powerful' and even 'poignant'.

Christ Jesus vs Jesus Christ in RNWT

i noticed in the bible reading in titus this week that that they changed one instance of christ jesus to jesus christ.

it made me wonder why it was done and what benefit it could have in their doctrines..

I noticed a scripture that they flipped them in too, maybe it was the same one ... I found it odd because Watchtower makes a big deal about what is meant when said as Jesus Christ or Christ Jesus ... maybe it's in the Insight book.

Circuit Overseer who gave talk at Twickenham is DIsfellowshipped

i have it from 1st hand (or second) that a circuit overseer who gave a talk at twickenham in august 2013 has been disfellowshipped.. .

my dilemma?

I know of a C.O. that was disfellowshipped for having an affair with a married sister in his circuit. This sister was also disfellowshipped. Both left their mates and married, were reinstated and are again active JW's (no longer in the circuit work).

everytine i do it reverts me back to login...and each time i click on "best of" link it sends me back to sign in and wont let me continue.

I'm not jealous of a room with a view, the point simply is that the GB is well cared for. Just because they are considered to have taken "a vow of poverty" doesn't mean they don't live like kings. They want for nothing. It's a fact.

Where would a GB member go if they wanted to leave the Organization because they saw it for what it really was? That's when the vow of poverty would become a hardship. Quite an incentive to change teachings to fit rather than face the facts that it's not "God's Organization".
