im current elder in one of the congregations in London
what I’ve noticed is huge changes since covid
we have had quite a few in our cong who have faded or part faded and sometimes come on zoom but without camera
some have confused the BOE as to where they live or what is going on in their lives
i can’t see how anyone should get announced that they are no longer a JW and have all the shunning, now it’s so easy to fade and once you are not known as a JW you don’t need to be shunned and all that jazz
i feel very strongly that come meeting times it’s so easy to jump on zoom in your comfortable PJs and same really with the ministry it’s a good chance to chat and have nice association but hardly any letters are written anymore
we all just go on for a chat and a catch up
im not looking forward to going on the door to door this September

Yea all those older dubs who keep getting the vax injections every six months to keep fully vaccinated as the GB so fiercely pushed
now they have to go back to KHs and back door to door with the hour requirements back September 1st that’s in like three weeks 😮

There is so much going on right now, we have had a lot of letters to read regarding going back to door to door. We can’t have too large a car party which means only a few in each car but I don’t know how that will work in practice in London

what are they going to be like when they realise not only jdubs don’t want to go to in person meetings but they really don’t want to go back on the min
zoom Has so much more appeal for rather than meetings or door to door

if they continue with the rule that only fully vaxed can go back to the hall then i could have stayed on zoom.
but the term fully vaxed is a moving target, if it’s been like six months since your last shot you are just the same as those of us who are unvaxed .
