one theory why tony was booted out was because he was a stickler for not changing the shunning doctrine.

he actually said the words we will never ever change it.. they are slowly deleting all of tony’s videos and now losing court cases and losing government hand outs in places like norway.. it’s looking very likely they will release new light on shunning policy after losing this latest one in norway.. .

what are the odds they coincidentally get new light from jehovah and lighten up their shunning policy ?.

This is so true. There is a scale of 1-100.

100 is total belief in everything the GB says is from Jehovah and is true. These would shun everyone the GB tells them to.

Hardly anyone is up near 100 these days, even the staunch PIMIs are less than 90 and these are few and far between. These would shun most most people they were told to unless it was a loved one then if it was a very close loved one they would certainly think twice about obeying the GBs direction to shun.

The majority of most congregations are at about 50. They think the GB are doing their best but they may be wrong about lots of things like 1914. They would not shun loved ones close to them if the GB directed them to and they probably won’t shun others either if they are good people.

The rest are well below 50 on the scale and they know in their heart that the GB are almost certainly wrong about almost everything. They will not obey the GB directions to shun anyone they will think for themselves

Pretty sure Lloyd threatened Tibor with a lawsuit as well, and since Tibor is based in Croatia and seemed to be in fear of Lloyd, I'm not surprised he disappeared

Lloyd has lost all credibility and can’t threaten anyone with lawsuits ever again

In my congregation some were talking on zoom about if they should go and get latest boosters.

Someone said until we get new direction from the GB then we should just follow the current direction and trust Jehovah

so only elders know about the U turn

rank and file still think the direction is to keep going for your boosters

some people are on nine now

Praying about what to do and then saying God has given direction to take these vaccines just makes no sense to me at all. This is the pink elephant in the room.

Yes they wish they could go back in time and change to a neutral stance but they can’t.

This really is the pink elephant with purple spots in the room and now they want everyone to not talk about this U turn, it’s too late.

How can JWs not talk about this huge elephant in the room. Are we supposed to forget that the GB gave this direction? You can’t forget there were too many heated debates about the GB direction.

I remember all the divisions that were very heated, these divisions were caused by the GB direction.

Some did have doubts about the safety of these injections but they trusted the GB to such an extent they concluded that the shots must be safe.

Thankfully their trust in the GB has been shattered but it’s too late they have had multiple spike protein shots and damaged their health

If they did have new light on shunning they could certainly play it so that they get more bums on seats plus more money in the coffers.

They announce that it’s so close to just around the corner final part of final part that Jehovah really wants people to return to him.

They could have a big push to get all those who left to return and tie this in with no more shunning.

An excuse to drop the shunning would be how loving and kind Jehovah is, he wants one last chance for family to contact disfellowshipped ones and tell them Jehovah still loves them.

They could tie it in with 2023 AGM new light about last min repentance and only the really bad people won’t get a resurrection or will be killed at Armageddon.

I wouldn’t put anything past the sneaky fat GB these days.

They may do something to appease the authorities and then find a way to alleviate responsibility and say it’s a personal decision if you speak to dissed loved ones.

Then everyone seeing that the GB official stance is no shunning but the rank and file still shun because they have been brainwashed to thinking Jehovah actually wants them to do so

The question is what would it take to get the Norway government to resume giving money to the Borg?

How much shunning could they still get away with or would it have to be none at all?

Is there any sneaky way that the Borg could try to make the court think they have done away with shunning but tell rank and file it’s hot to them or something
