a major cme or flare could wipe out civilization by destroying power grids everywhere.. this is why i get so angry about global warming hysteria - there are far more serious threats that could emerge in months, not decades ahead.. i also understand that a small asteroid is scheduled to come breathtakingly close to hitting earth in two years.
Power girds being knocked out... possible, billions of dollars in damage... possible. Most of Mankind being wiped out.... possible but not likely.

how did/has the wtbts affected your social skills, social development, and/or how you interact with other people?
i have many questions about different social skills that i will ask either after other people post to this thread or to keep this thread active.
How can any kid come out normal when you pound 5 meetings a week (back in those days) about how everyone is gona die in the big A and if you do not behave, you'll be one of them. its a death cult plain and simple! In took me until my Late 30's to start feeling socialy normal and I still get bout's of the Crazy's because of the years of indoctrination. I hate this Cult!

This is one of the GREATEST of damages being born in and growing up in this CULT that makes me angry! The belief's and the cutting us off from the rest of society greatly affected mine and many other born ins I know in a VERY Negative way. Anti social, self rightous, behavior is very prevelant especially in born ins. How can it not when we were put into a mental prison and they threw away the key! Many dubs are still very reclusive and very Socialy Okward, Shy, mistrustful of others, very selfish, uneducated, do not develop a normal concience but a WatchTower concience (very diffrent) and many suffer from many phobia's, sleeping disorder's, depression and mental illnesses because of it.
every prayer at any meal,congregation meeting,and assemblyhas the fds being thanked for the spiritual food that they provide.jesus gave us an example on who to pray to and what to say.the society or any human were not included and was not ever mentioned by jesus.the society has always included themselves in prayers.

Sorry but I am much happier where I am now. I'm Ok with the fact that no one knows all of the answer's. Do you need certainty in the Metaphysical to be happy? I personally used to feel the same way. Now, I'm happy to be a good person and contribute to my society in a healthy and more interactive way. If there is a Higher Power, I know that is what they/it would want anyway no matter what religion/non religion or race I am.

Ricky Bobby, I remember that. So many dubs I know did aswell. Even though at the time I was still partially believing the Cult, I thought that was really stupid. Not buying supplies, that good in case of an emergency. Its the WT spin they put on it that really got me thinking.......... this religion is for idiots.

The only real growth is in the people from underdeveloped countries with a Low education and poor access to the internet.
