just curious...is anyone hearing the older/infirm ones speaking out to others on how they are being treated in the congregation?
without giving anything away, i have spoken to so many older ones (some are sickly or can't drive in the evening or can't drive at all) who can't make it to all the meetings, assemblies, etc., that are complaining on how they are being treated by the more righteous ones in the hall.
the ones i have spoken to make the comment that it seems to be the younger elders that have less empathy and concern for these ones.
My belief is that people are good and kindhearted, or they are not. Religion is not necessarily a contributing factor. My great group of JW friends may no longer be the norm.
The problem is that the goodness and kindheartedness does depend on us toeing the line and being good JWs. Step out of there and it's amazing how that friendship suddenly dries up.

if they aren't with somebody, they are miserable.
if they are in a relationship, they are unhappy.. do you feel that you need to be n a relationship or are you content to be single..

was this in contravention of section 21 of the inquiries act 2005 which is punishable by imprisonment?.

I think the combination of the CC investigation and this inquiry is enough to make the UK branch quite nervous at the moment
I certainly hope so. And yes, I suspect a lot of their internal legal advice may well be second rate.
on the one hand , if their is a disaster , a natural occurrence such as an earthquake , tsunami , tornadoes etc, the witness armageddon barometer kicks in .many fence sitters , relatives etc.

Just a thought, I need to wander off and check the OIC site to see whether JW congos are registered ...
It would be interesting to know - remember they are classed as non-profit whch can mean exemption (in tne uk).
