however, i didn't realize i had seven, yes, seven of them, when i proceeded to count them.
the reason for that is that i haven't gone to the shooting range in years.

Some years ago, the late Beatle George Harrison confronted an intruder. As he was beaten, his wife was trying to fend off her husband's assailant, but was not faring well. Harrison then began doing one of the only things he legally could do in the U.K. to defend himself. He began yelling, "Hare Krishna!" He was badly beaten and the interior fled.
Hence the reason violent deaths are so much more common in the UK,

Exactly, with rational arguments all we have available is evidence based reasoning. Creationists can't do that so arguing is pointless when you have no common ground whatsoever.
It's like when tne JWs come to my door and start quoting from the bible and I go to my daughter's bookcase and fetch Barrie's Peter Pan to prove the existence of Wendy,

Why Faith is Self-Defeating
by cofty inthe god of christian theism values faith.. "without faith it is impossible to please god, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists" - heb.11.
faith and evidence are inversely proportional - the more evidence there is that god exists the less faith you need in that proposition and vice-versa.. so how can a christian criticise any other faith-based belief?
for example they can protest that all the evidence is against the claims of scientology, but that just means that scientologists require more faith than christians.

one of the main contaminants is asbestos.
it will take volunteer labour months simply to remove the toxic material.

Evolution is a Fact #27 - Monkeys, Typewriters, Shakespeare, 747s etc.
by cofty inmost creationist arguments can be summarised as "complexity, complexity, complexity - therefore god".
we have all heard the illustrations about the odds of (insert favourite example) evolving, being less than 10,000 monkeys typing macbeth by pure chance.
evolution is not like that.

Yes, I know irreducible complexity would be a reason to rethink evolution, but nothing of that nature has been discovered as yet. If it was, or even the hint if it, the creationists would be shouting it from the rooftops.
And here's the thing. If ever it was then the scientific establishment would learn from it and redefine the theory. That's the beauty of science - it's evidence driven.
You couldn't see religious fundamentalism doing that.
