  their latest success was an attack on india's state security forces, in which they killed 26 members of the security force.. you can read the at's attempt to analyse the origins and causes of the naxalite (they are also called maoists) rebellions at: http://www.atimes.com/indias-maoist-violence-must-resolved-dialogue/.

  the hindustan times has a table detailing the dead in this rebellion.. finally, i saw nothing about the latest attack (april) in the aussie media.

  Happy something has finally been done about Bohm . IMO Bohm, Spoletta, Berengaria, Coded Logic and the rest of the Clinton apologists should get 1 post a day, just so we can see if they have finally come to their senses. Their constant liberal copy-pasting fake news is making it impossible to have a rational discussion.

  And you are just the other side of the same coin.

  Unfortunately, this place seems to be so politically entrenched that it's impossible to have a reasonable discussion without being shouted down as a 'libtard ' or a 'hitler'.

  It's not just here - other forums I use are showing the same symptoms. Brexit, trump, Islam are all polarising people's opinions and it appears you can't take a moderate middle ground without being labelled.

  Lots of places actually invent languages to make themselves seem more "special".

  Welsh, for instance, started off as a joke to play on tourists using all the left-over consonants that they had when making road-signs. But then it caught on and they had to try and make a language up in retrospect to match all the signs which is why no one can really speak it.

  Interesting fact: They got a little-known (at the time) language student to create Welsh. His name was John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, yes, the same J.R.R.Tolkien who wrote Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Inventing Welsh inspired him to invent Elvish and then make up some books where he could use it.

  Is that like a trump style fact? Tolkien took his elvish language from Welsh. Welsh has been around for centuries. And people can speak it.

  That's a very bold claim - care to back it up?

  Blood is a very scarce and expensive resource (at least in the U.K.) and its use isn't taken lightly when there are viable alternatives.

  one thing over the years social media has made me painfully aware of is how many times i see someone use the phrase "i'll pray for you" and the outcome is bad.

  recently a friend of mine who at one time was my manager where i worked got cancer.

  a lot of people were praying for him.

  Prayer puzzles me. It always has. I don't think I will ever not be puzzled about prayer - despite people's valiant attempts to explain prayer's innate impotence or interpret my lack of faith in prayer as a bruising consequence of my JW background. Ha! I was cynical about prayer even as a door-knocking JW. It has always been a chink in my armor. Thank God!

  There have actually been some (quasi) scientific studies on the effects of prayer in medical outcomes.

  I'm on the phone at the moment but if you google 'studies on intercessory prayer' that should give you enough to get you banging your head on the PC screen.
