There was a DO in North Yorks who got DF'd years ago. Eloped with a pioneer iirc. Married the pioneer, was reinstated and became an elder again. I would imagine he's passed away by now as well.

In Australia 1995 mass shooting by mentally ill man at Port Arthur 35 dead. Our government cracked down on gun control and people handed in illegal guns for cash and no legal charges. We had many mass shootings till then. But none since 1995.
Today is the 20th anniversary of the shootings at the school in Dunblane.
Since the gun control laws came in, shootings in scotland since 1987 are down 67%.
