  circuit overseers, elders, ministerial servants, pioneers and rank & file are stressed out over an ex-jw (kevin) who has visited nearly 20 congregations (orange county) and has high-jacked the opening prayers and done some effective witnessing before he is escorted to the back door.

  and everything is caught on video!.

  kevin is also visiting numerous jw cart locations from the los angeles area to orange county and giving a most effective wiitness at each location and they're all on video.

  Intropist, I don't live in the USA, but witnesses invite the general public to visit their meetings, especially the public talk.

  I would imagine it's still private property and you can be asked to leave.

  It's also very telling to notice how there seems to be no will among street preaching JW's to refute kevin's "false" statements regarding pedophiles. It SHOULD bother them, like it bothered ME a few years ago. I know JW's cannot talk to apostates, but let's hope some will check jwfacts or the ARC at the privacy of their homes.

  It's not telling at all. If I was a JW and that happened I would just be shaking my head at them thinking 'fucking idiot'. No conversation needed.

  At the very least, if it upsets or frightens some old person or child, it's the wrong thing.

  I also think some nutter bursting in to a KH has may have a different feel to it in heavilly armed USA then somewhere like britain where gun crime is very rare.

  Elder told me that they are required to report to police.

  yesterday i had my weekly "mandatory" study with an elder, and i brought up child abuse and the whole issue with reporting it to the police.

  he told me that they are required to report to the police immediately, and that they never deter people from reporting anything.

  may i remind you that i am from denmark.. i find this interesting, as everything i find elsewhere states quite the opposite, or atleast provides statements that does not agree with his statements.

  My condition for the study though, is that i raise the questions, and i decide what we should talk about.

  That will cause more problems than it solves.

  If you must do it then just nod and smile sweetly and then never go again when you move.

  When we introduced radio mikes we used to get the local taxi companies CB radios bleeding over the sound system. The language was quite ripe at times which was amusing.

  This looks like it was setup in the area that has been evacuated - I imagine they were just told to leave and didn't have time to take it with them. If that is the case I think it is unfair to criticize them for this

  Pah - who needs facts and rational explanations when we can have outrage, knee jerk reactions and assumptions!
