I believe Valis view to be favorable...

Go by your own nature, not by theirs.

All in suit and tie would be as big a lie as they are.

Some suit, some tie, some dreadlocks, some close shaved, some long haired and short, some bearded, some formal, some pierced some not, some casual, a mix and some match, man woman and child, should go up as they feel right and comfortable and not as a false facade and fake pretense.

All should go up against the great white washed wall...as you really are. REAL PEOPLE.

every lovesong i hear, i have to turn off.

every scene or commercial on tv i see with a couple in love, even the stupid geico insurance one, i have to flip the channel off... everything, everywhere reminders of one i loved, one who broke my heart.

Coming Out; A Question.

i'm intrigued to see that prisca has decided to "come out" and posted her real pic, (even her car has turned up in a post by stephanaus).

termite has said "sod 'em all" with the result that her titian locks are visible in umpteen posts, and li'l toe put up his pic right from day one.. my question (to everyone) is this: do you feel that revealing your real identity on this site is an essential part of your departure from the religion of jehovah's witnesses, or do you feel that it doesn't make any difference to your personal growth whether or not you ever reveal who you really are?.

of course you might think the watchtower society is going to be around for a long time and harming peoples lives by their doctrines on blood use, toleration of pedophiles in their midst, and their big stick of shunning.

have you ever considered the possibility though that some behavioral studies of chickens and chimps can give us clues about what is happening now and what is in store for the borg a few years down the road?

i dont have a long intricate and far-fetched plot to share with you here, only some general but perhaps useable guidelines that you can use for understanding the politics that is happening in the society.

while sitting in my garage having a smoke, i reached up to an old publication (which i keep handy on my shelves).

The way I understand it, Yes and No. First, regarding an "elite," anyone that is chosen by God is as much a piece of crap as the next guy. Actually, if I go by Biblical examples, it seems God goes for the bottom of the crap bucket. God's will is to choose who HE wants out of all the pieces of crap out there in the world. Man has no say on who's picked nor can he do anything right to be picked. All a piece of crap can do is crappy things. So, it ain't ANY MAN'S call to be chosen or given understanding. Now, why is it people can't believe God will pick some and flush the rest? FEAR. Fear that they won't be picked. The truth is: No one has a choice on being chosen. It's God's choice alone...He decides who's sheep and goat, He decides who's wheat and weed, He dictates who's right and wrong, He decides what pieces of poo shall be chosen, called, justified an then glorified. What's that mean? It's ALL OUT OF EVERY MAN'S CONTROL. ME, YOU...EVERYONE.

Actually, it really has nothing to do with questioning. It has to do with God's good will and pleasure. God picks the man, the man doesn't pick God. See Paul. See Moses. See Jonah. See all the Apostles. SEE RAHAB...All picked by God AND CONTROLLED to do what HE WANTS.

Farthest thing from it. They believe by WORKS they will be saved. You know the JW drill.

There's nothing I can do, say or desire that will get me God's approval. I am a disposable pawn...it is by his WILL and HIS WILL alone that gets me or anyone else to the other side of the board to be crowned as king. Salvation is out of MY and everyone elses CONTROL...thought MOST RELIGIONS teach otherwise.

It is not any man's will whether they live or die, it is God's will alone.

Most people hate that fact. So they will vehemently deny it.

Me? I have no CONTROL over life and death. I cannot deny it.

there have been an abundance of threads that have deteriorated into these doctrine, and it clouds this issue because tempers get raised.. so, please, can we keep it simple.

should jesus receive our worship, right here, right now?.
