My Story
by CC Ryder inwell, i guess it is time to share my story with you all.
most of the recent events in my life i have already shared in bits and pieces throughout various threads here on the jwd.. i am 47 years old and have one sister who is 44. we grew up in a religously divided household.
my father was and still is a jw and my mother is still a devout bible student.

since getting disfellowshipped or leaving the wt is obviously an extremely difficult and painful experience should one try to convince believing jwses that their believe-system is wrong?
am i right or not that it might be better not to try to put doubts on their minds ??

The writers of the bible & Jesus
by Ginosko inmore than 20 years ago, before i baptised, i reached the conclusion that the words of the bible are not inspired by god but only the global ideas.
the reason why i reached that conclusion is based on hebrews 6:18 "through to unchageable things in which it is imposible for god to lie" and the title of a famous book written by the jw.
the idea i developed was the following: if there are things in which is impossible for god to lie ,then, by extension there are things in which is possible for god to lie, which is not proper for an ethically perfect god.

When I write about differing topics and stories, I use differing words for each topic.
Each topic would demand it's own vocabulary as it is with ANY author, man or God. Differing PENCILS I used would have it's own character. So with each man called to be used by Him.

was adam and eve forgiven?
by Sangdigger inthis was the subject of a recent debate with myself and some jw family members.
i dont have all the info.
in front of me, but i will give you just two points that i used to lean toward the idea that they were in fact, forgiven.

Adam and Eve sinned PERFECTLY. Just as they were designed to do.

Why did Jesus didn't write personally some of the books of the bible?
I believe he wrote the whole Bible.
He picked up men like I pick up a #2 pencil.

Morning pondering
by ballistic indoes anyone ever get a strange warm prickly sensation travelling all over their skin when thinking about a dream or something which happened?
i just did while thinking about my dream i had about heaven last night.. .

I have been married for 21 years with my soulmate, with 4 spectacular children.
I have never had relationship problems. Ever. It is a foreign thought to me.
I understand my vision totally...I'm not looking for interpretation.
It was an amazing spectacle though...I will say that.
I know it will be fulfilled.

Rom 11:17-21
17 If some of the branches [Jews] have been broken off, and you [pom and Neo], though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others [Natural Jews] and now share in the nourishing sap [Holy Spirit] from the olive root [Christ], 18 do not boast over those branches. [I'm CHOSEN, I'm SAVED] If you do, consider this: You [pom and Neo] do not support the root [Christ] but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, "Branches [Jews] were broken off so that I [pom and Neo] could be grafted in." 20 Granted. But they [Jews] were broken off because of unbelief, and you [pom and Neo] stand by faith. Do not be arrogant [pom and Neo], but be afraid. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches [Jews], he will not spare you [pom and Neo] either.
Rom 11:22-24
22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell [Jews] , but kindness to you [pom and Neo], provided that you continue in his kindness. 1 Thess 1:4-5
4 For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5 because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction.That's how the chosen were proven then, PROVEN BY THE POWER, that's how it will be in the end when ALL things will be exposed (evil) and revealed (chosen) BY THE POWER OF GOD.
Without the POWER OF GOD BEHIND A MAN'S WORDS that he is chosen, he's just another liar.
God will show who is really his all by Himself.
