A few bibical/religious questions

i've had these questions on my mind for a while and i was just curious as to what some other people's thoughts might be.. .

first off is the issue of the flood and noah.

in the bible account noah was commisioned to preach to those around him about the coming flood.

Show me where it says that in the Bible. Noah was NEVER commisioned to preach by God.

Again, where does it say THAT in the Bible. It rained from the beginning of creation. Without rain PLANTS DON'T GROW. What do you think the seperation of the "waters above" were for in Genesis? RAIN.

Noah never warned ANYONE. The only thing Noah did was condemn the world before the flood BY HIS ACTIONS OF BUILDING THE ARK. Him building was the ONLY work God commisioned him to do.

No, it's actually suggesting exactly what it says, that God would not destroy the earth with water again. Next time, he'll use fire. You have to remember, God the Father had a time table for God the Son to become a man. Satan was doing his thing to prevent it, God was doing His thing to make things happen at the correct time. Mankind was based around Christ, Christ was not based around mankind.

The real issue has nothing to do with man as plainly seen in the Bible. The issue is between God and Satan with man inbetween.

NO CREATION of God has the right to make his own decisions in regards to what is Good and Bad, no creatures life is their own. God OWNS everyones life. God sets that standard for ALL creatures ever since EVIL was brought into existence by Satan. That's the deal. Satan says everyone has free will. God says there is NO WILL BUT MY WILL. So the game is played out to the end.

First MANKIND was created with the potential to die, and MANKIND was burdened with the first LAW.

When ANGELS came into existence by God, there was NO SUCH THING AS BAD OR EVIL in creation. The concept was an UNKNOWN even to God. Which means ANGELS were never created initially with the potential to die. Why? Well, you tell me. Why would God bother creating LIFE with the potential to DIE? Because something he created could be BAD? Never may that happen. Angels were created to LIVE with the only potential TO LIVE. When Satan went bad OF HIS OWN FREE WILL, he wasn't breaking ANY LAW, because there WAS NO LAW. Satan and his demons is/was the reason FOR THE LAW in the Garden.

When Satan brought evil into existence, God had to make LAW AFTER THE FACT. LAW is not made BEFORE evil exists, LAW is made AFTER evil exists.

Example: Let's say there was NEVER EVER a murder. NONE. Would God make a LAW for murder if murder never happened? NO. After murder happened, then a LAW would be put in place at God's appointed time.

Now think of Eden. God put a LAW of OBEDIENCE in place on Adam and Eve. Since God put a LAW of obedience in place, DISOBEDIENCE had to be ALREADY be in existence. It was. The father of disobediance named Satan.

The Bible says so. But it surely will not be people that have already been at the butt end of his rampage. It will be NEW people.

I went fishing last August. I had a beautiful fishing machine of a boat, but I was so depressed, I just couldn't get it together to go fishing.

Depressed?? Whadaya mean? Like everyday $h_t stuff??

What was the boat?? Still have it?? Am I getting the geography right that this is in Georgia somewhere??

Last time I went in the ship channel was about ten years ago. Thanks to another one of those US Army Corps of Engineers projects, the spawning grounds of the strippers silted up and they stopped going into the channel. But a lawsuit made the corps rip out thier "tide gates" and the strippers are coming back.

They still run in the Ogeechee River though.

So these two places above, are they off shore fishing??

Sheesh, I just reviewed my post...too many questions!!

I don't have to change at all. I stand behind what I say with COMMON SENSE LOGICAL EVIDENCE right from the Book. NO ONE can pronounce it,

If God wanted a pronouncable name, the pronounciation would be KNOWN and it would be RECORDED IN THE BIBLE.

1. It is NOT known
2. It is NOT recorded in the Bible
3. That is God's truth. UNPRONOUNCABLE NAME.

As I have said WITH PURE LOGIC. If they know the time of non-usage, then they would have to know how to pronounce it in order to prove and show when it CEASED to be used. THAT IS COMMON SENSE.

Trips to the lake - and the Bathroom

after a short lived camping trip to dirty lake erie with mon cheri, complete with odd looking bugs, rednecks in banana-slings*, tobacco picking immigrants and several varieties of undercooked meat, i have found myself considering a permanent move to the bathroom.

yes folks, i have found myself with a bad case of the skitters.

i missed the jwc stuff that dreams are made of, and i am back, with an upset, angry, and burning undercarriage.

Is it the truth or is it a LIE?

It surely is NOT the truth, because the truth is NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO PRONOUNCE IT. The Creator of all things in heaven, the only true God, is the ONLY God with an unpronouncable name.

I DO HATE THAT "NAME" because of what that "NAME" has done to so many VICTIMS, FAMILIES, FRIENDS and LIVES.

Evidence exists that it was not until early in the common era that the Divine Name, YHWH, came to be regarded by the Rabbis as too sacred to pronounce, substituting ADONAI, Hebrew meaning LORD, when reading the scriptures aloud containing YHWH.

EVIDENCE?? What evidence?? There is no evidence! Only traditional JEWISH STORIES.

Logically, that statement above CANNOT be true. Why?

In order to make this statement of WHEN the name was disregarded, the pronounciation must be KNOWN in order to know WHEN it was that it stopped being pronounced. The Jews say, we stopped using it here at this time. Well, how do you know? Because that's what my Rabbi told me, and his Rabbi told him and on and on and on. Who here belives the Jews as recorded in the Bible to be a trustworthy people? It seems to me by their RECORD in the Bible, this JEWISH story is surely a FABRICATED traditional lie that has been accepted as true, by JEWS and the WHOLE WORLD..

If the Jews say it was at such and such a point in time that we stopped uttering the name, the only way THAT statement can be proven TRUE is by knowing the pronounciation.

The Jews record of defying God in the Bible is eternal. It would fit the Jews character of record to say our superstitious tradition made the name disappear, even though the SYMBOL of God was ALWAYS unutterable. I am to believe a Jewish traditional superstition was more powerful than the SOUND of God's name? No way Jose'!

Can any man pronounce God's name? The ability for a man's tongue to utter the "name" of God is just as unapproachable as the same man building a house on the sun in the sky.

As I have said many time before. If an utterance from a man's mouth, namely a sound that is called a NAME for God, is SO important to God, that utterance would be here to this day FULLY ACCURATE 100% uncorrupted and not veiled under the man made traditional stories of Rabbi's who's record in the Bible is one of HIDING THE TRUTH OF GOD.

it was just before i was 10 that my mom and dad began studying with jw's.

Well, my wife and I believe it was all based on jealousy. Just before the "ship hit the sand" with all this later crap, I was going to be given my elders stripes the next CO visit time around. Elder boy and his wifey poo didn't want me in the "club" and concocted their scheme to keep me out. I am glad it worked!!!!

These two actually lived above us when we lived in an apartment that my father-in-law owned. We were the social type people, had lots of friends and had people over and get togethers all the time. Our place was "the stop" for the pioneers in the morning to have their early morning break after doing the train station behind us. These people were not that popular (wet rags had better personas I believe). What was even more ridiculous, is the FIGHTS these two would have that we could hear upstairs. I mean screamin', yellin' dishes being thrown full blown rumble fights!!! And this guy was made an elder during the height of this BS...

You know, it's funny what you don't let yourself see while you are living in a land of make believe...
