My feeling is it would not matter who Karlo Novosel is politically connected to or if he bribes every judge in Croatia. Croatia does not have jurisdiction over four other countries. However this is interesting enough to share.

I think people are misreading cost. I've seen $8 allocated on a sheet here in Europe as 8,000. So I think his court costs were actually $122. That makes way more sense, and in a criminal case you couldn't claim liabilities as it would be a fine/sanction/imprisonment. He has probably paid his lawyers a total of $500 plus court fees. I really have a hard time believing so far it's been an expensive affair for him.
That would really clear much of this up. That is why I posted that sheet, because with all of those zeros, it makes no sense. Being cheap like he is, $122 for a court filing to make it appear he is "clearing his name" makes far more sense now. Still I hope his lawyers bleed his bank account dry.

This video is excellent. All of the Magnificent Seven together and Cappytan. Well worth the 2.5 hours watching. Yes I know it was posted on the previous page, but it deserves a second mention. Lloyd Evans, we are laughing at you. You are a miserable failure of a man that never deserved what attention you got. Dijana deserved better, the Ex-JW community deserves better.

I just find it hard to believe that expats lost their British citizenship after Brexit.
I do too. You are a citizen of a country until you become a citizen of someplace else and revoke the previous one (or keep dual nationality).
If Lloyd wasn't still a citizen of the UK after Brexit, he wouldn't be filing his business as a British business.

To be fair, I understood his argument there was to demonstrate the extent of the control that the borg has over individual’s lives, even going so far as to dictate what happens in the bedroom.
I agree though he really laboured the point and ‘milked it’ no end. Follow the money, eh?
The "milking" of the video for money is certainly what took place. Yes it is fair to discuss Watchtower's control of people's privacy. It was also fascinating to see what a Watchtower Bethel orientation video looks like. Equally fascinating was seeing the differences between what they show women and what they show men. Not knowing what I was about to watch based on the clickbait title "Pillowgate" is what suckered me in to watching it. Seeing Lloyd with glee critique it now knowing what he was doing with the camera off gives "Pillowgate" a whole new context. Now it is just another cringe video that I can't possibly watch again. I knew Lloyd was a jerk from previous years, but again, his using potentially trafficked women for his own pleasure in countries where this kind of enterprise is not legal or regulated makes such a video bad taste. Lloyd's personal destruction of his reputation will always stain future videos like this. He really would be better off to own his failures as a husband and man, take the hit to his reputation and move on.
