Funny, I told that to one of the nose in the air wannabe eldurrs who always yaps on about the FDS class this, and the FDS class that, and wouldn't you know, I got reprimanded for trying to "correct" an appointed brother!
not sure how wide spread this is, but from my social media land i saw 2 separate videos, from two halls in completely different towns featuring their kids having a demonstration on the service meeting (i am guessing last night as i didn't go).
these kids are really young!
maybe this was just a coincidence at first i thought it was the same video then realized theses people live hundreds of miles apart.
Yeah I had to sit through that buIIshlt part too. First a ten minute cartoon complete with a Shrek wannabe, and then a little kid showing how she "witnessed" to her teacher. Nothing other than the kid showed a jdubya-dot-org cartoon video. Then the oh-so-precious "return visit" where the little brat pass off a summer convention invite. And of course teacher was so thankful, and said she would definitely make plans to attend. . .even though it is over 500 miles round trip.

as of this june (i've already given my may contributions which are substantial) i am no longer giving money to support useless building projects that serve no good purpose.
i am no longer giving money at conventions or assemblies.
i am no longer giving money toward the circuit overseers upkeep.
An elderly now ex-elder said after he read the letter about the new arrangement to finance building he more than halved his monthly "contribution". Presently he has suspended it altogether.
I quit contributing when local elders decided I wasn't good enough to baby-sit microphones anymore, but could still do toilet cleaning duty. To heII with that shlt!
so i went to get a burger just now, and a couple of elders from my former congregation caught me off guard.
they started giving me the we feel so sorry for you, you must be so lonely bit.
i kept telling them im doing great and im not lonely but its like they couldnt hear me talking.

have you noticed the article entitled "watch your associations in these last days" in the new august 2015 study watchtower?.
unless i'm reading it wrong, or somehow misinterpreting it, it is saying that we should be kind to intentional breakers of god's laws inside and outside the congregation, including fornicators, but that we must not be close associates with them.. are they already preparing for a shift in their disfellowshipping practices?.

Well i have always trusted the FDS. i feel its Jehovah telling us to donate more. The GB have fully applied Luke 14: 28, and what happens? It wasnt them with not calculating properly, it was with us, with our dropback of contributions
So once again, it is YOUR FAULT when the fds screws up! Any R&F JDubya's must give more, even if they are at the end of their financial rope ready to drop. NEVER will the fds scale anything back when faced with the economic realities of life.

jehovahs witnesses say that people have the right to change religions and that they deserve respect when it comes to that right, but this is not something that they offer to those who leave their religion.
Playing devils advocate somewhat, the JDubya's actually DO respect the decision of people to leave the Dub's. According to the JW website, “these rights carry with them the obligation to respect the rights of others. . .
They use weasel words to wriggle out from under the REAL truth. While not TECHNICALLY lying they skirt the edge very close by saying they respect the RIGHTS of other to choose. Members who find out TTATT can leave anytime they want. It is the right of others to choose AND THEN BE RESPECTED after exercising that right that is not true.
Just my two-cents FWIW
this article is basically about how watchtower is going to put the kibosh on some taxes for this rural area of upstate new york, but to me that is not what i find most interesting.
thinking of it from the psychology standpoint of north american witnesses far removed from ny, first, they hear lett "not" begging for money, then they see an article like this that calls them "luxury" apartments.
