Why not ban two-piece swimsuits? What about shorts? Why not ban being in shape, or being good-looking?
It may not yet be in print, or on governing body TV, but those are pretty well the rules already. I did notice though in the second panel of the articles "cartoon" that one eldurr has a suit coat that is too short, and the other has pants that are way too long. If they want to start ordering people how to dress they had better damned well learn to dress properly first!
my father was telling me the other day that 5 publishers have recently been put in rest home care.
interesting in a cong of about 80-100 publishers.
If they in fact need that kind of care it is good that there are facilities where they can get it. I sure hope there are some kind souls who will make regular visits with them to let them know they are still valued as human beings.
The typical oh so loving JDubya's won't lift a fat finger to help their own when they get old enough to need more intensive assistance, or can no longer be slavishly driven to clean toilets for free.

if you go to their bible at genesis 18: starting at verse 3 you will read that abraham sees jehovah yep sees him, with a couple of other men (angel's) then talks to him about getting water to wash his feet.
then he runs to sarah and talks to her about preparing food for jehovah.
so let me get this strait abraham sees jehovah face to face, jehovah has feet and apparently likes to eat human food too.

.. this morning as i was trying to choke back the bile that kept wanting to come up during the wt study one comment in particular screamed cult.. towards the very end as comments were being made about "counseling" others with "gracious" words one of the uber-dub minstral-serpents made this comment, "we see in the last image that the brother is holding a bible as he counsels the other brother.
we look closely at the picture and we can know exactly what he is counseling the brother about.

After the meeting OFS got called aside with the worn out "we need to visit with you" line. This time it was the close trimmed, neat, well-arranged beard that I am now sporting that had the eldurr's panties in a wad. I was informed that there were some in the congregation that were offended, and that he is sure I "don't want to stumble someone do you?" I asked for a reason from the Bible why I should not wear one when it was my choice to wear one? He read 1 Corinthians 8: 9 which says, "But keep watching that your right to choose does not somehow become a stumbling block to those who are weak." I guess some of what I remember from the Bible has stuck with me, because I came back with Psalms 119: 165. "Abundant peace belongs to those who love your law; Nothing can make them stumble." Then I asked if perhaps he should concentrate on strengthing those weak ones instead of trying to force me to conform to weak ones who evidently must not really love the law of God.
He only mumbled and then quickly excused himself claiming to need to take care some other matters.
In another conversation it was mentioned that the Warwick compound is going ahead so fast. They are housing the workers (slaves) in the residence buildings now. They(the workers)have no transportation, they are in the middle of nowhere, and they have nothing to do after supper just sitting in the room with no real amenities so they just go back to work. That is why so much is getting done so "fast". BOREDOM!

i started getting slighted for the music i listened to as i lay in my bedroom listening on headphones to led zeppelin's song " black dog " at age 14 with my elder dad looking suspiciously at me as i'm rocking out .

one basically discouraging people from believing they are anointed and another about how ones should view partakers.

just curious...is anyone hearing the older/infirm ones speaking out to others on how they are being treated in the congregation?
without giving anything away, i have spoken to so many older ones (some are sickly or can't drive in the evening or can't drive at all) who can't make it to all the meetings, assemblies, etc., that are complaining on how they are being treated by the more righteous ones in the hall.
the ones i have spoken to make the comment that it seems to be the younger elders that have less empathy and concern for these ones.
Ah, @dbq407, I think that is the reason my dear parents are now being unofficially shunned.
My father commented to me at the time all the new shiny electronic gadgets were bought for their KH so the congregation could watch GBTV, all the loony videos for the CLAM etc., and then began their blatant pandering for money during every local needs that he was no longer going to contribute anything. And he quit giving money.
