we were supposed to be dedicated unconditionally to jehovah god.

we were willing to be persecuted to the death if need be.

if it came to taking a blood transfusion or dying, we were loyal to jehovah and would be a martyr for god.

I think there was a long stretch of my life where I would have had to say YES to that question.

How Much of the WT Teaching Did You Believe?

some people on this forum have said that they never really believed any aspect of wt teaching, that they couldn't wait to get free of it all.. others seems to have been really gung ho, believing it all until something happened that got you questioning "the truth.".

i would say my own high water mark was about 50%, which put me squarely on the fence, trying to decide if i should be in or out.. how about you?.

I got it as a kid, and progressed to becoming an uber elder, model family....

I had issues with the Science stuff.
Like the Flood never seemed right, I had always tried to figure out other explanations.

But I was 100% in for most of my life.

Then there were just a series of dominos that fell rapidly.

i'm 43 and a divorced mother of 2. in january 2019 i met the man i thought i could spend the rest of my life with.

we were happy and even though our relationship wasn't perfect (like all relationships) i thought we had a chance and were building a life together with our young kids.
