Just helped my kid get his first used car.

my son, only child, age 19, college sophomore, just got his first used car.

most importantly, he learned the fun and exhilarating process of buying a used car from a dealer.

he had saved some money, but everything around the $5000 range was basically a shit box on wheels.

How have you dealt with this with your kids?

I'm a plumber, so as soon as my kids turned 13 I took them out in the field on weekends. They started at the bottom digging ditches, cleaning shit off toilets. One by one they hated it the first week. They went to mom and cried and begged her to intervene and stop dad from taking them back on weekends to work.

Finally the end of the Month came and they were required to meet with the other employees for a meeting and their checks. I remember the look on my son's face when he got his first check for $700. at 13 years of age. After that he wanted to work every single weekend. The agreement was he had to get top grades in school. The kid hardly turned on the TV and was up past midnight everyday studying.

Even our girl went through the same process. Same thing happen the first week cleaning shit off toilets. Then the end of the month came and she got her first check. 😃

They all learned the value of working hard and making your own money in this world.

I wonder how this is all going to play out eventually? The majority of my friends have all gotten Covid. I got it and didn't even know it until weeks later when I got tested. I have the antibodies and don't plan on getting the vaccine. I don't believe the New Media or all the Scientist on TV that say even if you got Covid you should still get the vaccine. They're crazy if they think I'm going to get an experimental vaccine for a virus that didn't even phase me one bit.

Sometime I wonder if COVID was created deliberately to cull the population somewhat so the elites can have more resources. I mean Dr Fauci has done nothing but lie since the very beginning. And he is suppose to be one of the Top Doctors in the Country.

Living Forever is a very successful, alluring, bait for humans who become aware of their mortality. It's the Watchtower's main purpose to awaken young ones at an early age, that they are mortal and will one day Die. And the only way to escape Death, is to be a part of God's Organization.

You can usually tell the type of driver that will wear the mask while they are by themselves. They are holding the steering wheel tight usually wearing glasses, looking extremely nervous while they are driving...........

AND MAYBE THEY AREN'T WEARING ANY PANTS EITHER

New JW study book / method announced on JW Broadcast

so did anyone catch the january jw broadcast?.

it's the "spiritual content" of what would have been introduced in the october annual meeting, had the october annual meeting taken place.. morris, splane, and jackson introduce a new jw study publication: "live forever eternally - an interactive guide".. details were sparse, but apparently it is a 256 page book (when in actual printed form), primarily designed to be used in its electronic form, stuffed with links to videos.. it is designed to be "just one book" to be studied prior to baptism, where "all 60 questions that baptism candidates have to know" are found in just one place.. the purported reason is to make jw "bible" studies more "productive", i.e., lead to more baptisms.. splane brought out the governing body's "great concern" that 10 million+ "bible" studies are conducted by jws every year, but the number of baptisms has been stuck at 200,000 - 300,000 per year for decades.

so the thinking is, this new book + a "new method of conducting studies" (again, no real detail, but apparently it involves more "discussion" and less "question and answer").. want to know my thoughts?

They are just evolving to keep up with the upcoming generation. Just like any business, they are doing all they can to survive as long as possible. As long as the monies and wills keep coming in, the brainstorming will continue.

I asked someone why they wear a mask in the car. Their answer was that the virus is in the air. So it's just that some people are misinformed on how the virus spreads. An to be honest, I don't think the person even knows what a virus is because that person used the term "Plague."

There is a lot of people out there that never finished High School and don't use the internet. Their life is based on what they hear on the street.

2020 was the best year for the Pandemic!

the watchtower sees the pandemic as a wake up call for inactive jehovah’s witnesses to wake up before it’s to late.. it’s a wake up call for all worldly people to takes sides with jehovah’s organization before the great tribulation breaks out world wide.

it’s a wake up call for all apostates to beg jehovah for mercy, meet with the elders, confess their sins, and accept the discipline meted by the elders, and (possibly----maybe----you may be concealed in the day of jehovah’s anger.).

So we had a 2,902,664 Total deaths, including those who died from Covid, and we had approx. 3,791,712 Number of births in the USA. That means the United States came up with almost a million (889,048) extra mouths to feed in the coming year, with less food and water considering the lock down also included farmers who are responsible for feeding the nation.
