Do You Support Trump Being Impeached Again?
by minimus init looks like it can happen again and i suspect if it does happen, the senate will not convict either because they can’t convict him since it’s after his presidency or simply because they don’t have sufficient votes..

But, what purpose would it serve, to impeach Donald J. again? I mean, the man has until January 20th to be the President. Let him have his full, 4-year term of office, and let it end at that.
Impeachment is a strategy that needs to be followed "LEGALLY" in order to disqualify Trump from ever becoming President again in the future. The process calls for Impeachment First, then after impeachment, Congress can start legal proceedings to Disqualify him from ever becoming President again.
As evidence, Congress can use all social media that puts anything Trump said or has said in the past, as evidence that he has committed treason against the United States. They can also try to link the storming of Congress as being incited by Trump-- as evidence that he was planning a Coup d'état to overthrow the United States Government.
See my post above which explains that;
If removed by 25th Amendment: Yes, He can run again. When removed through the 25th Amendment, a president is not disqualified from running yet again.
If removed by an impeachment conviction: It depends. When impeaching someone, Congress does have the constitutional authority to disqualify that person from future office. However, there have been occasions when Congress has decided not to disqualify someone from future office.
If the president were to be impeached and convicted, his ability to run in 2024 would depend on whether Congress decided to disqualify him or not.

Here is the latest video where AOC explains that not only are they going to Impeach Trump, but are planning on disqualifying him from ever becoming President again. She starts explaining the process at the 4;13 mark

Should Difference of Opinion Be Squelched On Sites Such As FB or Twitter?
by minimus ini think that for the most part, dissenting views should be allowed to exist because of free speech principles.
one person may strongly feel that something is true while someone else may present “facts” that support the opposing view.
when that is the case, healthy discussion is mostly productive.

This makes it even stranger as to why Pelosi is riding her horse so hard.
Now that VP Harris can break a tie in the Senate and the Democrats have the house, it will be easier for the Speaker of the House-Nancy, to convince the House to disqualify Trump after being formally impeached. Thus preventing him from running again.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe you can be impeached and run for office again.

Actually humans are very unpredictable. We're worried about what comes next after the election, but You never know what's gonna happen next. One day everyone is getting up to work as usual, and the next minute you feel the ground shake and a mushroom cloud outside your window.
August 6 and August 9, 1945
People on the ground reported a pika —a brilliant flash of light—followed by a don —a loud booming sound Some 70,000–80,000 people, around 30 percent of the population of Hiroshima at the time, were killed by the blast and resultant firestorm and another 70,000 were injured. It is estimated that as many as 20,000 Japanese military personnel were killed.
No one in Japan ever imagined, something like this was even possible!

pistolpete have you read "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu?
It's not about war so much as strategy. I think you would like it.
Yes I have, read it a while back when I started College. Good read!📕

The Life of Pioneers...
by The Bethelite ini don't know why but sometimes like to check up my old/self righteous friend, gary kennedy from bethel on face book....he is a pioneer in ecuador.
yes and just like most pioneers he likes to brag on his selfless life style.
he is serving the lord my sitting at home and writing out thousands of letters long hand all day long to count his time.

Why does this picture of all those letters remind me of Santa Claus.

Most of us here have come out of a controlling religion. Does that make us more easily controlled in the future because the neurons and pathways of memory already exist inside of us?
Or does escaping one trap set by men make us extremely aware of another one when we see it?
That’s a good question. I choose the second case and here’s why.
Escaping a trap set by men is not the only “Way” that people become “Aware” of traps. Traps are set for the ignorant. But age, experience, and education are also avenues for people to “Become ‘aware of traps”
The awareness is not so much the traps set for us, but instead, -----the awareness is finding out the reality of what the human species is all about.
And sorry to say, but our history as a species, does not bode well, from as far as we can tell, from all our historical records.
Will we ever figure out that in order to live peacefully with one another, we have to share equally the finite resources the earth is capable of providing?
To do so, there can be NO-One Person in the entire earth, that has more power, than any other person living on the same planet.
Inequality in any form, whether (Political, Wealth, sustenance, etc.) will always be a catalyst for conflict.
A new Ruler is asked a simple, unexpected question, after the overthrow of a dystopian, Society run by a Tyrannical Government that dehumanized the masses by creating environmental disaster, and violence in the form of wars. And to top it all off, daily life for the masses was riddled with urban crimes led by gangs, and Government sponsored blood sports.
But finally all that is over. A new Ruler takes the reigns.
quote;
QUESTION;
“Are you preparing for another war?
NEW RULER; "Oh, not now. Now we're in a sweet period where everyone agrees that our recent horrors should never be repeated," he says.
"But collective thinking is usually short-lived. We're fickle, stupid beings with poor memories and a great gift for self-destruction. Although who knows? Maybe this will be it,”
