  What JW Subjects Interest You The Most On This Site? What Doesn’t??

  i like subjects that delve into the history of the religion and proofs that the witnesses are not the true religion.

  i’m not so much into apologists saying we need to go to meetings, especially if the poster looks like a scammer trying to get ex jws going.

  what subjects interest you ?

  Pistol, if JW Subjects bore you why are you here? Just asking

  I like the drama on here on political subjects because many of the posters are not from the USA yet they are affected emotionally, maybe otherwise by what happens here. I find it fascinating that they have strong opinions on Trump, Biden, Conservatives and liberals in our Country. Yet they don't live here.
  

  Since I've been here, I had no idea others countries had strong opinions on our freedom to have Guns, and the misinformation that the USA is like the wild wild west with hundreds of millions of murders.

  I didn't know about their health care system, their immigration policies, their problems. Just reading some of their experiences makes me grateful for what I have because of living in what I believe is the greatest country in the world.
  

  What I've come to find out since reading some post on this sub is that I really had no idea what other people in other countries thought about us here in the USA. I had no idea about the problems they faced. I'm trying to expand my knowledge of other countries and people because honestly I was very ignorant of what was happening in other parts of the world.Still am.
  

  Now for the first time in my life I'm looking at news outside my county and it's hard for me to believe that some of the stuff happening in others places is actually real. But it is real.

  But jw stuff-------LOL----They are only .001 of the population. I doubt they will be around in 40 or 50 years. They pose no real threat, they are on the decline, and the only ones holding the fort are those 60 years of age an up. The young ones couldn't care less about doctrine. Most of them figure out 607, 1914, last days, etc by the time they are 13 years old. And they do it using the internet and common sense. Plus there are tons of YouTubers who have something to say about the Watchtower.

  The main concern of born in jws is not whether the Watchtower is God's Channel, but instead it is HOW DO I GET OUT AND TAKE CARE OF MYSELF ONCE I REACH 18 YEARS OF AGE.

  Exjw reddit has over 60,000 jws most of them under 18 years of age. Their main concern is how to leave and afford college and a place to live. Not doctrine. Most already know the bible is not God's word, just a collections of ancient books.

  in 20 years this site has discussed every JW subject.

  Which is why JW subjects bore me.

  When I left at 18---actually sooner but I couldn't leave home, I never looked back. Once I figured out what the Watchtower was ---- just another religion, I figured it wasn't worth my time to continue to delve in it.

  Instead I educated myself on how reality works. Whether people like it or not, Politics and how the economy works in your country determines whether you will be poor and struggle for life just to make ends meet, or rich and able to retire by the time you hit your 30s. I chose to learn politics and economics. And I topped it off with Science and law.

  JW Net and Politics

  this site was and remains instrumental in assisting people that want to leave the jw's.. there has been political discussion here for some time now, a good couple of years and it makes me feel a little uneasy.

  i just opened up the site for the first time in some weeks, of the 10 posts being discussed, 4 were by the same poster, about politics, promoting their right wing beliefs.. this has been the trend for some time now, the same name behind a peppering of posts stirring the right v left of politics.. i remain forever grateful to the site and it's founders simon & angharad, i appreciate that simon shares some of these these political beliefs.

  it would be a shame to see the site evolve from a place for jw freedom of thought and escape, to political squabbling, that the world is frankly tired of right now.. just to clarify, politics is my hobby, whilst my friends read the football scores, i'm reading polling data.

  TD thanks for posting that link up. It was very interesting to see that people back then were basically the same as today.

  In fact no different than 2000 years ago when people were upset at the Roman Government and were looking for a King in the line of David.

  Along came a man who said he was of the line of David and his Kingdom was going to take control.

  Then they killed him.

  Yes only 500,000 deaths is the US alone

  ...and if the governments didn't impose social restrictions, what would have happened ?

  The USA has a population of 330 Million-----and they had approx 525,000 deaths in a year

  CHINA has a population of Approx 1.5 BILLION PEOPLE and only had 4,600 deaths--LOL

  INDIA has a population of 1,38 BILLION and very few care about masks----and they only had 157,000 deaths in a whole year

  Why is it that the USA has been in continual lock down for over a year and will continue in lock down EVEN AFTER THE VACCINATIONS????

  It's because there is a PLANNED TRANSFER OF WEALTH HAPPENING RIGHT NOW.

  People that can't figure it out are losing everything

  People who were aware of this, rode to the whale to riches.

  (THAT'S LESS THAN 3 MILLION PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIED OF COVID (WORLD WIDE) IN A YEAR)

  That’s 3.256832051282051e-4---------of the world population that died of the virus.

  Not even close to 1% of the world population

  The majority of people that have died of the virus were elderly with medical conditions. The few young ones that died had underline medical conditions.

  Compare this to the Spanish flu of 1918 where 50 million deaths worldwide ---- Maybe 100 million considering many bodies were cremated quickly to prevent spreading.

  Was Covid really a plague?

  
  

  What were the lock downs really all about?

  In the meantime life went on as usual and we added between 85-100 million new humans to the planet.

  This is a situation that YOU PERSONALLY will have to think about and decide what course will make you happier. You can't base a decision on what the people here post. Some are saying that they stayed with their wife and it worked, but others are telling you that staying with a wife under the influence of the WT cult is the worse thing you can do.

  None of that matters because your wife is not the same person as the wives of these posters. Your situation is not the same as their situation.

  You are going to have to think about your life and situation and decide what you believe is the right choice to make---for you personally. There are no guarantees either way. You make the choice and live with it.

  On the other hand, you don't have to make the choice today.
  

  I personally don't like to ask anybody for any input on serious decisions. I feel that I have a good head on my shoulders and am able to come up with a solution that I can live with--without any regrets.

  I left my entire jw family and jw friends when I was about 18. I never looked back. I worked at putting myself in a situation that has brought me much happiness.

  Once they become STARS, they can contribute millions to the Organization just like other cults.
