I was thinking about all of advances in technology and things like stoves and air conditioning. But now we have an advanced, maybe irreversible climate problem most likely caused by these advances, so I don't know it was such a good idea to become so advanced.
There are several theories out there that hypothesize that the more advance a species gets, the closer it gets to the “Filters” that will prevent it from advancing to much.
One of these “Filters” is that civilizations Destroy themselves when they reach a certain point. For example once they learn how to build Nuclear Weapons, it only a matter of a few hundreds years before someone decides it is time to end it all and thus pave the way for a new species to climb the ladder to the top.

Overpopulation could force world leaders and politicians to come up with a plan to cull the herd. Your average citizen would have no idea what is happening.
There is actually some speculation that the Covid virus was deliberately created to cull the overpopulation problem and get rid of the old and sickly people, since they are more of a drain on finite resources instead of adding ideas, and labor to earth’s diminishing resources.

You tell me. From a high of 70,300 active weapons in 1986, as of 2019 there are approximately 3,750 active nuclear warheads and 13,890 total nuclear warheads in the world. Many of the decommissioned weapons were simply stored or partially dismantled, not destroyed ---------meaning that humans still have access to them.
Considering how some countries armed with Nukes, hate each other to the max, like India and Pakistan, it wouldn’t take long for ONE OF THEM TO START SOMETHING and then the whole world join in.

The Watchtower makes up .001 of the population. (Not even close to the number 1) And to be honest, it's probably less than that because I don't believe there are 8 million full fledged believers - JWs world wide.
With that in mind, if the Watchtower collapsed today, I doubt anyone would even notice besides the members and some exjws.
I know 1.4 BILLION people in China wouldn't give a hoot
I know 1.3 BILLION people in India wouldn't blink an eye.
Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Brazil, Bangladesh, and Russia wouldn't even bat an eye

Hope; a FEELING of expectation and DESIRE for a certain thing to happen.
When I was a little kid I use to Hope=DESIRE to one day fly like superman. But as I grew up I realized that all HOPE is --------is just a feeling and nothing more. It's not something tangible that actually comes true just because you wish it or desire it.
In my short little life, considering I'm still young, I've seen real good people hope in God that their cancer would go away. (They died) I've seen good parents hope in God, that their 5 year old daughter is found before it's to late. (She never came home) How many of the 350,000 people that died in the December 26, 2004 tsunami do you think were Hoping in God considering many has just celebrated the birth of Christ the day prior?
Because we know that won't happen because people are always going to be divided and unsatisfied.
Now you are predicting a future event and acting like a prophet. That's how religion starts. No Human can predict how humanity will turn out thousands of years from now.

our dad is dying and over the last two months he’s done some very weird stuff.. my family knows he’s not a real witness because he sells corn liquor and pills, drinks daily, let us have our moms birthday at their house.
he’s also committed adultery, it’s rumored that he molested our cousin when he was younger, done fraud to my dying dad, lied about being our dads poa for greed only to find out he’s not, lied to the family about his estranged daughters, called his oldest daughter a b*tch because she doesn’t want anything to do with him, lied on our dads life to her to get her to talk to him, he has the name nympho tattooed on his neck, has slandered his immediate family and abandoned two of his daughters for over 20 years to start a family with his new wife.

I’m really confused at how they speak if jehovah but live their life like this.
You seem to believe that a person's religion has anything to do with a person's character. A religion is a belief system with their differing ideas of what makes a person moral, All religion"s ideas of what make a good person is flawed.
For example Jehovah's Witnesses speak of Jehovah as you mentioned, yet they would be willing to let their child, wife, husband, or parents DIE, if it conflicts with their doctrine of no blood transfusion. Does being a Jehovah Witness make them more moral than anyone else considering they are willing to let their family die for a belief system made by a group of men that started the religion in the 1800s?
You need to judge a person's character based on how they live their life and how they act instead of the religion they associate with. .Some of the most famous serial killers were very religious.

USA has a population of 328,000,000------Covid deaths so far about 240,000---just do the math and see what percentage of the population dies from Covid. Which explains why Biden and Nancy Pelosi are still alive.
I don't count how many have gotten Covid because it doesn't tell the true story. I already caught it and was sick for a few hours. My lady made me go check with the doctor cause she was scared she might catch it. I went and was positive. Had to quarantine for two weeks. Lady went and she had already gotten it and didn't even know it. So both of us are part of the 10 million who have catch Covid. All our friends have caught it and the most they were sick was two days. They were mostly mad because they had to stay at home for two weeks. Of course we are all young and healthy. I know Covid is real but the truth is that it affects mostly older people and especially older and sickly.
But the fact is that every year we have more people die from heart disease and Cancer than covid. And this is every single year and there is no vaccine for heart disease and cancer. Check the links below.

by pistolpete inwhether it’s a republican or a democrat that will become president, one thing to keep in mind is the winner regardless of his political affiliation- is still human.
and as a human, we can be selfless, altruistic, self-sacrificing, rational, and merciful, and at the same time we can be malicious, unforgiving, a moral hypocrite, dehumanize certain groups of people, and worse of all, have psychopathic traits.
so the best we can do is research the policies of “both” political parties, figure out what polices each party is planning to implement, determine which policies will be for our benefit, and which policies will harm us.
