  Do you sometimes bemoan the LOST idea, or Belief, that Someone Powerful was going to set all things right?

  so it looks like about half of my jw relatives are not going back to the meetings once they open up the kingdom halls.

  the main reason all of them give is that if we were truly living in the last days, jehovah would not have allowed the door to door preaching work, and kingdom hall meetings to stop for over a year.. the elders have talked to some of them and tried to convince them that letter writing is accomplishing the same thing as door to door, and zoom is the same as meetings-----------but my relatives just won’t buy it anymore.

  just a note here, at first, the kingdom hall lock-downs, and the no preaching door to door was not that bad,the relatives still held on to their faith strongly because they believed it was temporary.

  We don’t, therefore, need commanding to be good; it happens quite naturally as a function of our evolved nature.

  True, even babies understand early what is good and what is bad to some extent.

  What do you think will be different in the Organization after the pandemic is over?

  whether they go back to door-to-door or not, what will be different?

  do you think there will be a noticeable drop-off in attendance as we have read on here that many have left or faded?

  will there be a mass selling of halls?

  I know that more than half of my jw family has woken up or is in the process of waking up. And I have a HUGH FAMILY of jws. Brothers, sisters, step brothers and step sisters, all their children, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, etc.

  Heck, a lot of the young kids are already planning on going to trade school full time and ditching all Kingdom Hall activities. I've been getting lots of calls for advice on this.
  

  Even the OLD ones who are still strong believers have already said they are never going back to doing door to door work. They have said that if the door to door work was so important to Jehovah, ---He would have never allowed it to be stopped for over a year. That being said, they don't believe the door to door work is a requirement anymore, regardless of what the elders say.

  Don't know about other Countries, but in the USA, I think this is the case for most jws under 50 years of age.

  Should “Children” Be Allowed To Decide That They Want To Change Their Birth Sex?

  does a child have the right to decide that he or she is not comfortable with their gender and so would want to change from being a boy to a girl and vice versa?

  The problem seems to be the NEW GENERATION'S WAY OF THINKING AND SEEING THINGS.

  I have a feeling in 50 years they will be changing children's sex at a very young age, like 3-4 years old and everyone will accept it.

  This is a preview of what humanity can expect in the future.

  Are You Concerned About Inflation?

  i saw a statistic the other day that something like 25% of all the debt that the us has incurred since 1776 was created in the last 12 months.

  that's because they have printed so much currency and instead of letting that stop them, they are going to continue printing more to go on a spending spree on crazy green-new-deal schemes and union handouts.. does anyone think that this can be anything other than inflationary?

  they are effectively stealing the wealth of everyone to then hand money out to people.

  At some level they understand the reality that the world's a rough place, that might be what drew them in or kept them in the religion with its hopes of righting wrongs and making everything right one day.

  I agree! I believe that's the reason why the jws still in will continue to stay in regardless of any bad the organization does. No matter how bad the publicity.
  

  these days, I'm simply taking a "wait and see" attitude about the "big picture". I figure that if there is a God and he/she has good things in store for mankind, there's no reason I shouldn't be a part of it as well.

  I take the same approach. For years I've been trying to find some evidence of a good God, but nothing yet. Who knows what the future brings.

  Just a note here, at first, the Kingdom Hall lock-downs, and the No preaching door to door was not that bad,the relatives still held on to their faith strongly because they believed it was temporary. But after several months with no end in sight, they were so confused and depressed, they went on the internet LOOKING FOR ANSWERS, because the elders and the branch had no answers.

  All of them ACCIDENTALLY found out several things like 607 not being the real date Jerusalem fell, Child abuse in the organization, and a lot of other things.

  And they were pissed off, but it wasn’t the end of the world.

  But then, it dawn on them what that meant.

  The WORST THING OF ALL is----Finding out that there is not going to be a God of Justice that is going to step in and make all things right.

  Like resurrect those millions of innocent mothers, fathers, children, young couples that were gassed in concentration camps during the Nazi regime.

  Like resurrect the millions of people who have been burned alive, thrown into the Roman games to be eaten by lions, torn apart by hyenas, beautiful young girls force to be raped before they reach puberty.

  Like getting rid of all the evil people in the world who have trafficked, murdered, raped, other human beings.

  Like giving children who died early of cancer or birth defects, another chance of the real life.

  Being shocked that there is going to be NO resurrection for your parents, children, wife or husband that has died. The idea that You’ll never see them again is unbearable.

  The feeling of being Deeply Sadden that,we will NEVER BE ALIVE AGAIN, just like we were not alive for billions and billions of years.

  This is the only thing that I just can’t help my relatives with. There is nothing I can say to comfort them. And now most of them have done the research on the Bible and know it’s not God’s inspired Word. So they found out all on their own, without any help from me, that the paradise earth hope was just a story made up by some ancient people, and then the story was deified and made true by others wanting it to be true so badly. .
  

  Do you ever look back, ----and LAMENT--------to those days BEFORE you started seeing the hypocrisy,

  
  

  before you started questioning the Organization.

  
  

  When you really believed With all your heart and soul that it was TRUE!
  

  before you found out “Things” on the internet,

  When you still had that feeling and Belief of complete security, that One Day Jehovah was going to come down and Set things straight, and remove all evil persons from the earth, and resurrect all those people that deserved a second chance, including the people you’ve love and lost.

  And the feeling that if by some chance you died, -----You Would Eventually be Back in a Better World.

  That’s what messing up my jw relatives that are waking up.

  i have a family member who is a remote bethelite and they are working on creating content for online "university" for bethelites to teach them skills that are needed at bethel.

  from what i've seen it is a lot of recorded content saved on their sharepoint sites.

  i haven't seen any information on this from this site or reddit which i'm more active on.

  However, it would require instructors who learned their trade in the real world

  But the governing Body DOES have experience. They know how to MAKE BILLIONS, and use Government law to evade taxes and swindle many out of their estates. And it all legal!

  Religion is not necessary for there to be good.

  Without religion and the belief of a second chance, humans would be more incline to treasure and respect life.

  they all seem to have one thing in common well-built young men

  Nah! He's to skinny. He looks like he has 18 inch thighs, 12.5 calves, 13 inch biceps and a 38-39 inch chest. Probably weighs about 165lbs.

  I'm still young, been weightlifting for about 10 years, and my girl tells me I look sexy in cheap Walmart underwear. My thighs are 24.5 inches, Calves 16 inches, biceps 18 inches, 33 inch waist, and weigh approx 250lbs.I earned every inch of muscle with hard work and persistence.

  Imagine this scenario, the CEO's of all the pharma corporations are discussing what they can do to increase profits. For years they have been trying to get all the American Citizens to take the flu shot YEARLY.

  But America, being a Country where a quarter of he population says----Nah, I'm fine, I don't need a flu shot.

  And another quarter of the population says--------Fuc* off!

  The CEO are at a standstill. So one CEO says, I need a raise so we have to do something.

  Then someone has a light bulb moment!

  "What if we say a VIRUS IS COMING!

  And instead of attributing flu deaths to the flu----we instead say the deaths were because of COVID.

  Another CEO says, what if we say ALL DEATHS, ----cancer, heart attack, kidney failure, old age, etc. are the result of COVID!!

  Another CEO says, and what if we send some money to the owners of CNN so they can blast the audience with a virus scare. And also send some $$ to the Democrat Governors to shut down the economy in their State. And Send Dr. Fauci a couple of hundred thousand to hype up the masses.

  Then we can FORCE THE VACCINE NOT ONLY ON 330 MILLION AMERICANS----BUT THE WHOLE FUC*ING WORLD. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
