Logical Fallacy… can I get some help here?
by DATA-DOG indr. leanna wen is currently spreading the fallacy that unvaccinated persons should have vaccines mandated because they are like drunk drivers… they have the right to be drunk at home she says, but wanting to be part of society at large without being vaccinated is like driving drunk and putting others at risk.
besides ignoring the science proving that persons who have had sars cov-2 have natural immunity that equals or exceeds anything that could be imparted from the mrna shot, without the side effects or need for boosters, ( sorry big pharma, you’ll be losing $$$ ) this illustration just smacks of illogical reasoning.
it reminds me of the borg comparing getting baptized to getting your driver’s license.

Covid is as high as it was back in February where only 10% had a shot. Now 70% have the shot and the numbers are high again. Makes zero sense.
Let's break it down to see if it makes sense.
February + 10% had the shot = Covid High
Today + 70% have the shot = Covid High
February vs Today = Covid Still High ----NO CHANGE.
10% have shot = 70% have shot-----NO CHANGE
Answer = SHOT DON'T WORK

I'm now turned off by this site
by purrpurr inin one form or another i've been a member of this site for almost 10 years.
in the past this was a great place for debate, news and support for ex jws.
i logged on several times a day and posted several times a week.

The young Born in Jws today couldn't give a hoot about WT doctrine. The reason is because in today's internet age, there are several 8 year old born in jws that can explain 607-1914 better than the JW bible scholar that used to explain the date back in the pre-internet age on this site.
And I believe those bible scholars left this site because they realized it was time to live their life and not be consumed with WT agenda.
Today there are Literally hundreds if not thousands of YouTube videos that debunks Every WT Doctrine EVER.
Why would any young JW want to READ POSTS here when you have access to a 10 minute or less video that explains Everything Watchtower related---past and present?
The reason many are turned off by this site is because the World has Changed and nostalgia is difficult to give up for many.
Sorry, but the world will continue to change and human interest will also change.
The WT doctrines that were important 10, 20, or 30 years ago are a joke for the many young JWs because they are already BEGINNING AT THE POINT WHERE THEY KNOW THE BIBLE ITSELF IS NOT GOD'S WORD.
They joke about Noah's flood because the have done the math
They see how ridiculous it is to believe that a God who murders 70,000 of his own faithful worshipers just because a King took a census, can be labeled a God of love.
They see how stupid the Universal Sovereignty issue actually is.
This site is not Watchtower dominated anymore because the world is evolving along with humanity.
If a person is still hung up on Watchtower News, Has that person really broken the chains?
The main concern of today's young JWs is:
HOW DO I LEAVE WITHOUT LOSING MY FAMILY?
HOW CAN I AFFORD COLLEGE?
WHAT CAREER PATH IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL?
HOW DO I CHOOSE A MARRIAGE MATE?
SHOULD I EVEN GET MARRIED?
HOW WILL THE PRESIDENT AFFECT MY LIFE?
SHOULD I VOTE OR DO NOTHING LIKE WHEN I WAS A JEHOVAH WITNESS?
WT DOCTRINE IS IRRELEVANT! Nobody cares anymore. The young ones have TONS OF INFORMATION on literally everything. Why spend the time and energy on something they know is useless?
There is close to 70,000 new members on exjw reddit. The Majority of them are under 20 years of age. A survey was done last year to estimate how many jws have left ejwreddit to start living their lives. It was estimated about 100,000 left exjw reddit to start living their normal lives without Watchtower interest. Only those with family pop in once every few years.
In another 20 years, probably all sites related to the God of the bible will be gone, The few that exist today are dying fast. Usually only 10 or so members post regularly on subjects that allure the crazy. Those that are trying to figure out the book of Revelation, Daniel, and when the Kingdom of God will take Control.

Faucci was/is well aware of early treatment options, and has been for some time. Existing, preventative treatments that actually work when administered early, like Ivermectin, and HCQ would preclude the emergency authorization of MRNA products by law. Products that Faucci is heavily invested in.

In the United States, If the Government is aware that a known safe and effective treatment for Covid is available, then Emergency use of a Covid vaccine without FDA approval, for the virus--- WOULD BE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
This would cause a big loss for investors in the vaccine.
The majority of the people don't know this, but the current political party knows this and they have all the Social media and the news media under their control, thus they are censuring all the treatment options from thousands of doctors around the world who are having success treating thousands if not millions of patients. But are not allowed to share that critical information.
What many don't understand or even know why all this is happening, is that the current political powers are doing this as a step to instill fear in the masses, to prime for them for MENTICIDE

i have been awake since i was a child and i am thinking about leaving jehovahs witnesses soon.
i am looking for some new friends because i know i will lose the ones i have.. my question is, how did your spouse react when you left?

This biggest conflict will be over your child.
How will your child be raised?
Will you agree to allow your child to attend meetings with your husband?
Will you allow your child to be indoctrinated with Watchtower literature?
Will you agree to go along with your husband's wishes that your child not participate in holidays, birthdays,
or associate with children that are not Witnesses?
TBK; How would you advice someone who had woken up and now found themselves in this situation?
I think it would help those in such a situation.

A little off topic... I'll be moving...
by Expanded-Mind ini'd appreciate getting some opinions about a decision i will shortly have to make.. i am moving soon and have the choice of two different apartments in two different towns.
i am hoping this move will be one of the last that i have to make - i have moved frequently in my life - at least for a long, long while.. the apartment i like the least is in a town and a location that i love due to my history with, and connection to the area.
the apartment i love is in a town and location i am not as crazy about, but it is still a really nice area.

I would WAIT until I could live in an apartment THAT I LOVE and IN AN AREA I FEEL COMFORTABLE.
I would not compromise feeling comfortable vs Loving the area.

Eleven Million landlords have not been getting their rent due payments and many of them are ready to foreclose.
Black Rock Corporation is buying all these foreclosed properties from the banks.
This means Legal Contracts are now useless in the USA because of Socialism which equals to Government HAVING ACCESS and DE-FACTO OWNERSHIP to ALL PRIVATE PROPERTY.

Court cases are often handled by a jury. Now who are on the jury? Ordinary citizens with no legal training.
That's the way it was intended to avoid bias judgement.
YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY A JURY OF YOUR PEERS!
The way the Watchtower handles judgement is ---------THREE ELDERS, IN A SECRET MEETING, USUALLY AT NIGHT------WITH NO ONE TO REPRESENT THE VICTIMS
ELDERS BECOME ---JUDGE-JURY, and EXECUTIONER. ----and that is not THE JUSTICE WAY OF JUDGING PEOPLE.
