Back to the original topic, quince paste is often a feature of charcuterie boards. I'm not sure if you could make your own quince paste, but it might be worth a try. 👍

peacefulpete, it's interesting that you should say that he wasn't big in the USA, because I remember growing up in the 70s with the Tomfoolery Show, a series of cartoon sketches based on Lear's works. It originated on NBC. To be fair, it apparently didn't get much traction.
