  TxNVSue2023, YORWW stands for Yah, Our Righteousness Worldwide. It is a group that claims that JWs are basically right, but have the wrong leader. Their leader, Donald Burney, is the true leader of the JWs, in their doctrine. He is also the Messiah, according to them, and the 144,000 are Jamaican. He aims to get every JW couple divorced, I understand. That's a sample of what I have been led to believe that they believe, but there could be more. Needless to say, we don't actually need any more in order to make up our minds.

  They've been fishing on here for a while lately. They seem to believe that the cure for those who have issues with various aspects of JW doctrine and practices is : more of the same! 🙄

  OP, Jamaica receives $290m US from the UK in remittances per annum. Divided among the 144,000*, that equals about $2000 each**.

  *YORWW doctrine states that the 144,000 of Revelation will be Jamaican. OP has quoted The Report, a YORWW publication before, so I assume that OP is one of Burney's disciples.

  Burney's group/religion is reportedly mainly a handful of women surrounding him, their Messiah. Basically, if women can't serve, he has no servants.

  Some* have speculated that a man shortage will inevitably lead to the WT allowing women to fill some positions within the organisation. That has been YORWW's reality since its foundation, hence the necessity for them to get that particular brand of "new light" early on.

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

  An interesting tidbit, but probably not a smoking gun. Watchtower as a term, word or reference is not exclusive to the crooks (formerly) of Crooklyn* Heights (any Hendrix fans out there?).

  Corporate name searches turn up all sorts of things. Aussie JWs and exes might find it interesting to do a business/company name search on the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) website. Searching for the words "Watchtower" and "Jehovah" does actually yield some WT related entities. And a name change of one such entity.

  I imagine if you did similar searches in the databases of the various US state Secretary of State departments, you'd find plenty of WT related entities. But simply having a word like "Watchtower" or "Jehovah"** in a name proves nothing.

  *Damned tablet tried to autocorrect me!

  ** There are 63 entries for this name in the ASIC database. Rutherford and his cronies, contrary to their insistence, were hardly the first or only people to use that name.
