from the perspective of this imperfect world, seeing something perfect would seem quite amazing.
such as the omega particle or whatever it was called in star trek.. but what if you lived in a world (or heaven for that matter) where everything was so perfect that it was extremely predictable, and there was never any point in trying to improve anything or fight for a cause and everyone always had the perfect answer for you?.
maybe that's why "god" created the universe and maybe the universe is a perfect way of experiencing randomness?

did you know that there is a cult in this area and that they are responsible for wrecking several families here?
well, i hope you will take a moment or two to look over this little brochure that we have prepared to inform you so that you will know what to look out for.

...and considering i don't have any, it is surprising that i found the nerve to post my photo as my avatar!
i was leery to use my photo thinking someone i knew could catch on to my new apostate antics.
so, i couldn't decide what to use.
As AC/DC sang..."You've got the biggest balls of them all!" Very photogenic by the way....

i've always heard the truth book aka blue bomb inspired the song crystal blue persuasion by tommy james and the shondells.. you ever heard that?
any troof to it?
dub legend?
As Colorado said, since they were all doing drugs back then I think it would be unlikely they would find any sort of musical inspiration in the dubs

which albums did you throw out after that landmark talk at an assembly round about the mid 80's?.
i got rid of:.
elo (widely regarded as having back tracking on one song).
When I was a kid I remember not being allowed to listen to Liz Phair's Exile in Guyville anymore (for obvious reasons) .... and David Bowie was considered strictly verbotten.
Interestingly, classical took up the majority of my collection at one point (Beethoven, Handel, Holst, Tchiakovsky). I remember them actually having debates on if it was ok to listen to Handel's Messiah.I was also counseled for listening to Vivaldi because he was a priest

im from a small backward industrial town in the north of england.
in the 70's when i was a kid no-one had a car.
we used to meet for field service on the street corner and have a pep rally right there, then stand in a circle and say a prayer.
Worst of all was saturday morning field service, because every kid in the entire world was sat in the living room in their dressing gowns eating bacon sarnies watching Swap Shop or Tiswas while I was outside in some high collared low hemmed christian dress my mum had made for me, freezing my nuts off trying place a magazine about the lesser spotted porridge weavil.
For Katie, TISWAS eventually meant....(breathes in) : "Today Is Saturday, Wear A (Low Hemmed Christian Dress And) Smile!" I love your writing style Katie, its very engaging... your descriptions of the fat women made me think of a Pink Floyd song...Cheers!
