  Where is FLAT STANLEY???

  flat stanley seems to be lost.

  rhys hasn't recieved a postcard from him in weeks now...last one was from joy in florida.

  i know we had a poster in alaska who sent a card, but so far, it hasn't arrived.. last i heard, he was en route to california.

  Thanks Aude! I PM'd you an addy to send Stanley on to.

  Rhys has requested that Stanley visit his aunt and uncle in Massachusettes. His aunt is also an ex-dub that many of you met at the post
  X-mas extravaganza.

  I'm going to check on which cards have arrived when I go to the school Tuesday. He said they did get something from Idaho...thanks Merry! Their schedule has been a bit crazy the last couple of weeks with field trips. Sometimes the teacher holds on to the postcards for awhile before showing the class, they just run out of time!

  I'll be back with an update on Tuesday.

  I still have not heard though if your son's class recieved my package yet or not.I asked you back in the other thread about Stanly and never heard anything so, I assumed that the kids did get it....I really hope that it has gotten there as it has been some time now....

  I'm so sorry I didn't answer! I didn't see it, not around here too much anymore.

  I don't think they got it...yet. I'll double check on Tuesday when I'm back in the classroom. What did you send so I can ask specifically? Last week we went on two field trips () so I was with the class but in a more chaotic kind of way...and not in the classroom. I'm so sorry to leave you hanging on this. I'll make sure to find out Tuesday and I'll get back to you for sure.

  I've got to run my kids to a birthday party but I'll be back...

  If Stanley does get lost (the original), will that ruin the school project or are the postcards themselves the main thing?

  It won't ruin the project, but the instructions are to send him home in June. That way, Rhys gets to keep him as a souvenir, along with the postcards from his travels.

  My 8 year nephew sent me his 3 grade Flat Stanley last month. I drive a big truck and took him on a ride with me for a week. I had no idea Flat Stanley was this popular.

  That's awesome! The kids love getting the postcards from all over the country and world.

  PS the teacher send me a letter explaining to me that Flat Stanley was flat because a bulletin board fell on him.

  Yep, poor Stanley. You can only feel so sorry for a guy who travels so much though. He's having a blast! Please help us find Stanley!!!

  When he's done traveling, please post all the places he's been to this year. He was around the world, I think.

  I will. He's a very well traveled little guy, thanks to all of you!

  I'm hoping he shows up eventually! It took about a month for Franklin's postcard to reach us, so I'm still hopeful.

  Didn't he go to Aude Sphere after Idaho?

  i spent some time volunteering in rhys' class this morning.

  his teacher very excitedly showed me a large package from country woman....full of candy from the netherlands!

  she was amazed at the great cards branda sent along with the candy as well as some maps of her area.

  I've also been wondering about Stanley! Haven't heard a word from the little guy since he was in Florida with Joy. He's running out of time! Only a couple weeks of travel left before he needs to head back home.

  Anyone??? Stanley, you okay?
