Scratch my boring Friday night plans. Dropping the kids with a sitter and heading out to a bar to listen to a friend's band play.
I had a close call with a boring Friday there for awhile.
other than field service and the watchtower obviously!!!!

.
do you shop at wally world?
i can spend over $100.00 on little items, man shopping at wally world is the devil on my checkbook.
Wal-mart smells funny.
I refuse to shop there.
The South Park episode about Wal-mart is a screamer. Everyone who dies, shits themselves.

Picking blackberries which are in their prime right now - from our backyard, for jam or bb cobbler.
Oooh, good idea.
Friday night, eat, watch tube sleep. I'll probably slip out sometime today to buy a basketball hoop for my kids. So you can insert "shoot hoops with kids" in between eating and watching TV.
Saturday: 15 mile bike ride followed by 4 mile run. Eat lots. Son having a buddy over for a sleepover (they're 8)...movie night, sleep.
Sunday: husband going on 200 mile bike ride so I'm going to grab the kiddos and hit the trail to pick blackberries...thanks Brenda! Work on building website or go to beach. Hard to say. The whole day is open and so many options.
i realize this isn't jw related, but i've discovered a few people on this board also have auto-immune disorders, so i thought i'd cast out a net to see who else might have this problem.
about 6 years ago, i couldn't figure out why i couldn't get over a bout of the flu.
i threw up a lot, felt feverish, my joints ached to the point where i had a hard time walking, was all around tired, diarrhea, severe moodiness, strange little skin rashes that popped up within minutes of a meal, had asthma attacks (never had asthma before) lost weight (down to about 85 - 90 lbs).
(No princess, my favorite alcohol is NOT smurf juice.. truth be told I'm not crazy about that stuff. lol)
Liar

Ya know, my friends are always saying GG is the best. Still haven't tried it though.
Love the vodka martini. I had my first Bloody Mary a couple weeks back. I know, I'm how old? Geez, my parents aren't vodka drinkers and my husband doesn't drink. Lucky for me I have friends who introduced me to the beloved V. Anyway, this Bloody Mary was a meal. I'm totally sold. It was fabulous AND at a casino just down the road from my house so only $3 a drink...in a tall glass.
Love vodka with liz blizz by Sobe. Takes me no time at all to get quite plastered when vodka is around.
Hey Andi, I have no dietary restrictions except those I place on myself. Currently, I'm too close to a triathlon to be drinking so I'm off the booze for a couple weeks, and keeping my diet relatively clean. The apple fritter I had this morning was well deserved after my 1/2 mile swim across a lake and back in overcast drizzly weather. I won't be having another anytime soon.
I'm sorry you have such restrictions but happy that you know what makes you sick and a way to eat around it. We have Whole Foods here too, but it isn't close and I never go there.
my kids occasionally ask me this.
i usually respond "christmas" because it's so cheerful and festive or "halloween" because i'm always so touched at the kindness of my neighbors.. now i say "labor day".
they are puzzled.
LOL. I still remember Steve enjoying those dinner rolls at the BBQ apostofest. "Man, did you taste those rolls??!!! I could have eaten three plates of those!!!."
Yup, likes his bread.
Sleepy but it's got to be Whataburger Class
Well, duh.
Princess, do you remember one of the Staples commercial of last year?... ; The sullen children boarding school buses, the grave parents waving to the kids as the bus departs (and forlorn looks from the bus's back window)... and, after the bus rounded the corner, all the parents began cheering and whooping wildly and giving high-fives? ; "Back to school days are here!" ; .... Anyway... That looked like me... ;I do! One of my faves too! I have a bunch of friends at the kids school whose babies are finally starting kindergarten this year. Great excuse for a bit of a party!

mmmmmmmmmmmm..............feasting.................
as you guys may know, i don't ask too many questions on the forum, as i feel that i have a pretty good grasp on things.
but this... i am clueless on..
starting sometime next week, i will have my own apartment.
Sorry to hear it Keith. Hope things get better soon.

Olive juice with a big glurg of vodka.

Your favorite kid Stanley is pretty cool and quiet. Let him take care of the others ;)
I haven't seen that boy since June. I think he's hiding and resting from his travels.
Gay Pride....I can dress up in assless chaps, rainbow wig, and be silly.
I hadn't considered wearing assless chaps. Of course, I haven't been to Gay Pride celebrations either. Sounds like fun.
2nd Fav as you can guess is Halloween.
I'm going to be Wonder Woman this year.
Thanksgiving is the best, stuff yourself to the gills, football all day, and three days to digest without all of the running around and hoopla that goes with Christmas (though Christmas is a close second).
Yeah, I love Thanksgiving too. However, Seattle Marathon is that Sunday so I can't stuff myself. Last year I made an extra pumpkin pie so I could eat as much as I wanted after the marathon.
Samhain
Right on I do love all the holidays ('cept Easter...I have to draw the line somewhere and Easter is it) but right now, Labor Day rules.
