  i'm still determined not to vote - just to write something unpleasant about pollies on the ballot paper.

  if i lived in victoria, i just may, as an act of sheer bastardry, vote for julian assange (of wikileaks fame), but i don't live in vic, so i cant.. my objection to voting is that the political choice offers two self-perpetuating oligarchies (who are something like the governing body).

  they make up a slate of candidates and election advertising consists of attempting to persuade swinging voters to vote for their slate of candidates.. anyway, i noted that k.rudd has made a video in chinese, aimed apparently at mainland china.

  Thoughts on Jesus' Resurrection

  i think that in our various discussions about life after the wt, we many times forget about the cornerstone of christian life - the resurrection.

  the implications of the existence a man who holds the power of life and death is manifold.

  it makes discussions about the existence of god obsolete.. for all of scientists' accomplishments they have never been able to make even one amobea come alive from non-life.

  Even Paul knows nothing about Jesus the man. scan thru all his writings and write down the facts you learn about jesus.

  stop when you get to 5. You wont learn about his family, where he went, what miracles he did, when he lived, who his apostles were and so on.

  Not once did you explain why the end of the civil war in SL was so much worse than the actual civil war. The same goes for Afghanistan. How exactly is A getting worse ? Its a terrible place, but it is better than the old under the Taliban. Girls and women have more of a change than being prisoners like in the past.

  this was brand new to me........did some research, like we're not supposed to do ;) and dug up crazy stuff that i had no idea about.

  my whole life we were taught have bad and evil "christendom" was for trying to pacify hiter during his rise to power, and how different we were for standing up to him!.

  then i found about the letter dated june 25,1933 from rutherford and his writting team to hiter.

  thats simply not true. He wrote about his madness, hatred for jews and russians in his autobiography which was published before the 1930s. What he actually ended up doing was very much prophetic in that he followed his ideas faithfully. Somehow Stalin also missed this.

  what is amazing is how many have turned their back on the king or was it they had no faith in the first place and the spiritual food they received did not help them stand upon a rock.
