American Sign Language and BANZSL are ostensibly unrelated sign languages, and share far fewer signs. However there is still a significant overlap, probably due largely to relatively recent borrowing of lexicon by signers of all three dialects of BANZSL, with many younger signers unaware which signs are recent imports.
Between Auslan, BSL and NZSL, 82% of signs are identical (per Swadesh lists). When considering identical as well as similar or related signs there are 98% cognate signs between the languages. By comparison, ASL and BANZSL have only 31% signs identical, or 44% cognate.

Does all those different SL really count as different ? Do they really retranslate all or some material into each of the different sign languages ?

You shouldnt laugh. What you describe is basically the same methodology that the ancient Persians used when they had a difficult problem to solve and needed help. They would get drunk and then remember the next day the answer that God gave them.

I dont believe anyone would have worshipped a false god after seeing a whole mountain shake and a voice from heaven speak with lightning and so on. The author of the text claims that happened but the actions of the Hebrews and the golden calf tell a very different story. Im going to say something outrageous and state for the record i believe Moses was half lying with a bit of religious leader showmanship and fancy words that stretch the truth.

i truly wonder if this move opens the door to the practical end of the "preaching work".

they could move everything to the internet, get rid of yearly statistics and pretend that things are growing.

BANNED words in the Education System (eye opening!)

new york (cbsnewyork) george carlin is rolling over in his grave.. the new york city department of education is waging a war on words of sorts, and is seeking to have words they deem upsetting removed from standardized tests.. marla diamond talks to walcott, student about banned words.

fearing that certain words and topics can make students feel unpleasant, officials are requesting 50 or so words be removed from city-issued tests.. the word dinosaur made the hit list because dinosaurs suggest evolution which creationists might not like, wcbs 880s marla diamond reported.

halloween is targeted because it suggests paganism; a birthday might not be happy to all because it isnt celebrated by jehovahs witnesses.. julie lewis family celebrates christmas and kwanzaa, but she told cbs 2s emily smith she wants her children to appreciate and learn about other holidays and celebrations.. theyre going to meet people from all walks of life and theyre going to have to learn to adjust, lewis said.. words that suggest wealth are excluded because they could make kids jealous.

Not quite. The title of the topic uses "the" which implies there is just one Education System, theres not. There are over 200 countries each with their own independent systems. There are many news items from many different education systems, considering they are not in my country, i have nothing to worry about except the sky falling.

ok soi grew up in the religion and i remember so often the churches being slammed at the meetings for passing the plate and how they shamelessly begged for money.

how we as jehovah's witnesses are so much better because we never ask for money and the contribution box is sort of hidden in the back of the hall like we were even embarrassed to have to have that.

just the word contribution was so much better than the words the worldly churches used.

Im sorry the only valid reason is POWER, the others are dellusional. Anyone who works 30-40+ years to get those benefits and doesnt even get to retire is a fool.

They should just institute tithing, 10% is a big number. If they cant survive with that then they should just quit.
