What are the levels/ranks within the Jehovah's Witnesses

i checked out http://www.jwbrothers.org this morning and i went to the video section and looked at the video entitled "garbage island".

while the video points out the issue of plastic garbage in the ocean, i was shocked at all of all the "fucks" and "shits" used throughout the piece.

are jw's behind this site?

This goes against everyting the "Watchtower, 6/1/97, p. 6. par. 2" states:-
"True religion in no way practices secretiveness. Worshipers of the true God have been instructed not to hide their identity or to obscure their purpose as Jehovah's Witnesses" (Watchtower, 6/1/97, p. 6. par. 2).

You need to re-examine your definition of truth. Truth is't black/white, yes/no, true/false. It comes in various levels of intensity, that's why we know the light is getting brigher, which can be likened to "the Truth" getting truer. Wich would you rather "false relgion" or "The Truth"? The Organisation defines what is true.

The article in question is considered old light. Old light was true at the time, but now "New Light™" has come and is much truer. Focusing on old light is like trying to drive a car via the rear-vision mirrors, it's dangerous! DANGEROUS!
Old light is like stale food. You woudn't eat a steak that was three months old, would you? Spritual food is like that steak, you need to get it fresh otherwise it will make you sick. The Watchtower provides fresh food at every meeting, and in recent publications. You should go there for food, not on the internet.
You Apostates just don't get it! Instead of keeping step with Jehovah's charriot, you're lost in past teachings. In older light that's dimmer and less true. You're like the blind leading the blind with old, dim, less-true, light.

- Jesus Christ isn't mediator for "Great Crowd", only for 144,000.
- 144,000 are the only ones going to heaven
- There is no hell
- There is no afterlife (exept for 144,000)

Most cults create their own language that only insiders are privy to. Or have ordinary words that take on a different meaning inside the cult.

Let me see. Since I was a born-in, and never allowed to:
- Join sporting events / clubs
- Have a hobby
- Have friends (outside the KH)
- Enjoy any activity that wasn't dubtower approved
Then there's constant fear of:
- Armageddon
- Blood
- Satanic music
- Not going out witnessing
- Going witnessing and meeting school friends
- Not underlining (studying) the watchtower magazine
- Birthdays
I guess that could have some effect on how screwed up I am. But who knows for sure?

Future "New Light" on "this Generation" posted here now!!!

the governing body {karl klien} in the 1970's considered changing the generation to refer to those who saw "sputnik.

2012 new light = "this generation that knew the 1914 generation is.....the new "generation.

Evidently we can now say with confidence that "this generation" correctly refers to one thousand years starting from those born in 1900. The new light on "This generation" can be tied to Luke 17:26 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man." Likewise in our time the 1914 generation will also be one thousand years.
Brothers and sisers, as we know, a generation in Noah's day was nearly one thousand years, and therefore we should be thankful for this loving provision that allows multitues more to come to a knowledge of the truth, and enables us to reach every corner of the earth.
With this new light we can be in constant expectation of Armageddon until 2900, or until we receive newer light on this subject.
We trust this puts to rest generational questions many weaker ones have have.
It would be funny to put a message like this in an official looking Watchtower letter, and mail it to a few congregations.

yes, the may 15th watchtower is now available for download from jw.org.. the final study article, on page 26, directs another salvo at apostates - and warns witnesses not to try arguing with them on the internet:.

indeed, we ought to move as far away from wrongdoing as possible and not see how close we can get to it without being overcome by sin.

for instance, we need to guard against succumbing to apostasy, a sin that would make us unfit to glorify god.
