I know what's much worse than having a record for pot, it's acting like a stalker doing a background check.

I'm a Global Warming (now "Climate Change") apostate. That being the case I fully expect some of you to shun me for my difference in beleif. Because make no mistake it is another belief system.
Global Warming (or whatever you like to call it) has been invented to extract more taxes, a global tax if you will. Every cent extracted in taxes ultimately come from the little person. The fact that there's enough people for "climate change" initatives (aka taxes) doesn't make its message any more beleivable, it simply shows how controlled people are by mainstream media.

Anybody here vegan?
by Dagney ini've been considering it for awhile strictly for just general overall health.
i don't take any meds, and would like to keep it that way for as long as i can.
i am a "all things in moderation " type of person but the more i read about excluding dairy and meat, the more i think about doing it.

Raw hemp seed One of the best vegan friendly foods I've ever eaten. It made a noticeable difference to my health (skin, and energy levels).
Has anyone else tried hemp?

Things you did to pass the time at meetings/service/assemblies/conventions/memorials
by OneDayillBeFree ini'm currently at the meeting again... i'm always in the back working the sound cause everyone else can't seem to work it and i'm mostly on my phone reading jwn or writing, or doodling or sometimes i just stare at the audience to see who's falling asleep or daydreaming.
its really the only way i can still sit through these things.. but i remember getting the number of a girl i used to like at one district convention and we would text each other during the program and talk about how boring it was.. i also remember sneaking out of a circuit assembly and going to see a car show that was going on right next door.
that was fun!.

I think going to the toilet and having a stroll did it for me. The toilets must be the busiest place while the con-vention talks are on.

I really don't like the fact that Dagney asked if there were any Vegans here and a bunch non-Vegans decided to answer
And here comes the high and mighty pure-bred vegan, along with all-knowing vegan wisdom.
Here's a hint, veganism is a dietary choice, not a royal blood line.

these two are both full time pioneers, and also participate in various construction projects around the country.
the husband just got back from a 3 week trip to walkill, new york to help with construction on a new residence building at 'the farm' (does anyone call it that anymore?)..

They can stand up there and brag that they don't draw huge salaries
You know every business person, or boss I've ever spoken with emphasizes how they don't get big salaries (like employees). But you know, when they sell the business they always clean up big time.

New World Order Connection
by marriedtoajw ini've heard and read so much conflicting information.
never been a jw and i have only been to a couple of meetings years ago.
what is the watchtowers teaching regarding the "new world order" as you guys were taught?.

My 2 cents worth:
1. The Watchtower was founded by freemasons (see CTR's memorial, early literature) even the CD-ROM mentions having meetings in masonic halls.
2. They have "New Word", or "New Order" on just about everything. Hitler also used the term "New Order".
3. NWO theories point toward a one world government. Watchtower theory points toward a one world government under Christ.
4. NWO theories believe a cashless society will be here soon. Many Christians believe a cashless society is/could be the "Mark" in Rev 13 if certain aspects match Rev 13. It's obvious that a cashless society will be here within 10-20 years, if not sooner. The Watchtower denies the "mark" is anything literal, rather they claim the "mark" is symbolic and has been here since the early 1900s.
5. Not sure if it's related but there's creepy satanic subliminal drawings in Watchtower literature.
Some have theorized the GB is controlled by masons?

My whole family is almost vegan, and have at times been fully vegan. It all started with my son's dairy intolerance, and then my wife's type two diabetes. We eliminated dairy first, then gradually went off meat, which was a big thing for us. I used to eat bacon and eggs for breakfast, some type of meat for lunch, and steak or roast for dinner. Typically we’d have two meals of meat per day.
The only thing that's not vegan in our diet is eggs 2-3 times per week, and fish about once per week.
Since being (mostly) vegan, I've lost over 27 lb without feeling hungry, have more energy, have normal blood pressure and cholesterol. My wife’s diabetes is completely gone.
