The letter is a fake. Unless the GB are writing letters to bodies of elders in simplified english the wording of the letter is not in the style of the writing dept.
Maybe they've cut back at the writing department too.
here's a letter that has circulated among many ex-watchtowerites!.
just thought you'd want to know!.
awake!

... and that's all I have to say.
i mean, is there really any scientific evidence to support their existence?.
is it used as a scare tactic of thewts?.
and i suppose if one doesn't believe in god, a belief in satan and demons and angels for that matter would be contradictory... im not sure what i believe now but would love to hear everyone's thoughts..
@startingover
Are you trying to cast doubts regarding my memory? I have a great memory. In fact I can remember with absolute clarity events from the age of two years old.
I undersand where you're coming from, but don't shoot the messenger. I'm just telling it how it is.

I've noticed Yahoo Answers have been flooded with JW's for a while. You can tell the real JW's by the cut-and-paste Watchtower CD-ROM answers.

@james
To be rational I should have used "unexplained entities" as I really don't know that they were 'Demons' for a certainty. From my wife's account (which I have no reason to doubt, and she has no reason to embellish), the entities had names, and moved the (wooden) ouija pointer without help.
@Sweet
Sorry, I didn't write a transcript. My wife first told me about it two years before we were married. She was asking about my height. I wasn't sure so we took a measurement, she recalled the ouija board prediction was exact to the millimeter. We discussed it for a bit, then I asked what else they told her. She said they predicted my hair color, weight, eye color, the year we would marry, number and sex of children, year and month of their birth, the country she would emigrate to. At that time I thought the height and appearance was most likely just coincidence and the rest was BS.
While some of it could be dismissed as mere chance, the odds of all those things happening exactly as predicted, years in advance, aren't great.

I have an ouija board and can't get it to tell me shit. Do I need to be a highly suggestible 14 year old girl?
I think you have to read the instructions.
But seriously, those predictions were made by spirts (perhaps demons?), and my wife's story is credible. I know this because she told me the predictions when I was 22 before most of them happened. So far every one has been 100% accurate, and a lot of them could not have been influenced by my wife.

Yes, they showed to anwers questions where they can exalt themselves and comfortably say whatever about their belief, but they chicken out at tough questions like this one:
Looks like they try to answer those questions too. Their answers just don't make any sense at all.
"and war broke out in heaven: michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven.
9 so down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called devil and satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
" - rev 12:7.

@Sweet
You got it. I believe that demons exist, and that Global Warming (aka Climate Change) is just another method for control / taxation. But I don't believe the two have anything in common.

I think I've seen enough climate change witnessing for one day. Some of the same people that were suckered into the JW cult, are now being suckerd into the phoney climate change cult. It's sad to see.
The only good thing about it was when I heard Climate Change propaganda (then called Global Warming) at a Sunday talk. It was the start of my a wakening. I still remember thinking "He shouldn't use the platform to promote Global Warming", then shortly after there was a magazine about it which had a fairly neutral viewpoint (as they mostly do).
