Even if they eliminated all disease and age related deaths the average person will only live about 600 years. This is because of accidental death. True many may be real lucky and live to 2400 but just as many will have fatal accidents by the time they are 150.
Accidental death becomes real important when that's the only cause of death. Perhaps new emphasis will be placed on accident prevention. Or maybe people will be iced instantly - rushed to a trauma center where the person has a bunch of vital organs grown from their own stem cells.
Concquering death seems to be within the realm of possibility.
