Given the propensity of Muslim extremists for martyrdom.. (houris as their reward) and whatever rewards they seek in Allah's service. What are the chances that the government of Iran is willing to initiate nukes in exchange for severely damaging US and annihilating Israel???

looking at the media and the subsequent comments from israel regarding iran, it looks clear that something is going to happen soon, very soon..... with iran having the ears of both china and russia, israel having the us and of course we (uk) as the states poodle on the other side.
i wonder if this could be the beginning of the end?.

On the second thought, the military is always fond of testing new weapons, so the nuke actually served 2 purposes: revenge and test drive.

Are there really any 'famed Watchtower scholars'?
Hmmm... The only indigenous one I can think of is the one that did the translation for NWT, Fred Franz. Other famed scholars are misquoted out of context by the WTBTS. Another is Greg Stafford, a JW Apologist.
Uhh... wait.. WTBTS doesn't publish the names of the authors, because it's gving glory to the authors rather than to Jehovah. Since Jehovah owns everthing, feel free to plagiarize and misquote those "non-JW" scholars and mistranslate the Hebrew and Greek texts.

Simply put, blood from a living human being given to another living human being to save the life of the latter, in what way does this violate God's laws?? God desires mercy not sacrifice. Same thing with doctors, which is far more important? The saving of a life or acceding to the illogical requirement of an impersonal organization?

That's why I'm pissed... They are making it look like that there is actually no need for whole or fractionated blood transfusion since there are bloodless alternatives. Which is why I will disregard my wife's (a JW) wish that no blood transfusion take place if there is an urgent need. They (referring to the GB) have a ton of blood guilt to answer to.

Well, considering the propaganda war the Watchtower is waging on blood transfusion (see the latest youtube BS regarding it), I find it really misleading. In that youtube video, the case against blood transfusion was regarding NON-TRAUMATIC surgery and treatment. They conveniently omit trauma situations, making it look like blood alternatives can replace actual blood in the transfusion process, ergo actual blood is not needed. In various forums, discussions on what if there was a traumatic injury that the only available solution to save a life is actual blood transfusion, JWs would say it's only hyphothetical, therefore not realistic.
