Is it true that the March ministry is hinting that this year will be the last memorial, someone just said that today in the service, just wanted to confirm.
Edit: forgot to add the month.

- 23 day to go .. annual meeting unofficial rumors.
- new bible.
- new nwt (revision).
So when Oct 5 happens. How are we going to know what was discussed in that meeting? I marked my calendar, lol.
i have been out for 22 years.i was raised as a jehovahs witness.
i was baptized in 1986 but soon after left the religion.
theres a whole lot to the reasons why i left, but i left.
Want to go back? Nobody is stoping ya.
no mention of them being mentally diseased or using "lies" to deceive god's people, just that they are out to attract followers for themselves!.
p.s.
i was cringing at the thought of sitting for 3 1/2 hours for the afternoon session but fortunately my one kid got sick!!
My family decided to go to Spanish this time and I do understand and speak decent Spanish, not fluently though. Well, they did mentioned the mental illness and they re-added the no "email, texts" shunning policy. I was utterly disgusted!
hello, i'm a 17 year old born in and i'm done with this religion.
one hundred percent.
i came to the conclusion a year ago that i wanted to leave.
Don't get baptized! I made that mistake and now I'm living with it, my family is putting even more presure on me to accomplish this pointless goals, they even want me to go Bethel now. The people will start putting presure on you to take more responsabilities.
i'm really interested in this question because i've heard for years that if you forgo further education and go pioneering, when you have a family down the track you will get a good job because jehovah will provide for you because you pioneered.
as long as i was a kool-aid drinker, even then, i thought, "how does pioneering pay your bills?
surely education should come first.
Oppss sorry for double posting.

That is why I'm gonna give the middle finger to the WTS and go to University, I don't really care about wht people say about me in the congregation.
over the years i have had to deal with this problem personally and as a attendant covering my section at various convention centers.
i had people who were suppose to be decent jehovah witnesses pick up all the books, bags and coolers belonging to brothers and sisters who arrived at the appropriate time and picked them up and dumped them all at the end of the seating row.
so here is what goes down, the sister runs up to me panicking and saying "dear brother, i had all those seats reserved for my family and now look!
Ughh don't remind me, some jerk next to me kept getting up every 15 minute and in one of those times he stepped on my bag and f'dup my lunch, didn't even apologized.
i was wondering if there were any other ex-bethelites on here.
i personally regularly went for temporary work at brooklyn then was assigned to the farm for a year and a half.
it was... one of the most bizaare experiences of my life.. so i wrote it all down (finally, after some 15 years) so i won't bore anyone on here with the details of the story - because bethel doesn't show up until chapter 15... and for you straight folks, it gets a bit gay in two places... but nothing gross.
Holy crap, this story is so good, already in chapter 5.
